Just watch the exhibition between PR Rog and Valle. Elena ex over head is currently plus 4 on hit. Can’t combo of any version of mallet smash accept for the fierce version. Looks like only light kick can connect. Looks like she will play like her third strike version. I got no problem with that, I got spoiled with her sfxt incarnation. Man I wish her normals were still like it was in SFxT minus the boost combos and juggles.

Anyone info from someone who tried out Elena with the latest changes? BTW, sucks they nerfed their healing, I hope it is still useful. It is what drew me to want to play this character.

Her ex overhead move got harder to combo into. It is now a 1 framed link.

When I tried her out in training mode, she can link a cr.mk after a counter hit st.hk (was this possible in sfxt as well? Let me know!) She can also do ex scratch wheel after a normal spin scythe in the corner. And I think cr.lk, cr.mk is a link (feels like a one frame link though)

Not sure about cr.mk but in xT she can link her cr.mp and st.mk after a ch st.hk.

She can link a medium after the HP xx HK target combo too, right? (In SFxT)

Worst remix so far imo. Ultra seems very hit and miss so far, hopefully the unannounced extra features and some extra polish will make it better.

To be honest… I think the song would have been fine with the non verbal parts.

A few observations of #USF4 Elena with my short time at SCR. Focus crumple is the only way to get enough time for relatively safe U2. Cr. Fierce force stands so it’s the only normal that can combo directly into Rhino horn. U1 trades on meaties, but still fast recovery. Slide feels MUCH more unsafe, can’t whiff or have it be blocked too close but it’s still very good for clipping feet and punishing FBs. DP is still bad, can get thrown and doesn’t knock down first hit. Might be more for combo fodder and AA’s, not a reversal. Sweep has a much harder time going under fireballs (not sure if still doable). Hurtbox is still funky and extra low (they’ll fix it). Forward throw nerf is visible, doesn’t corner carry half screen like it did at Super Arcade build. EX overhead still comboable. Overall Elena is looking to be very good. Great mixups in footsie range, amazing dashes, not meter dependant, big dmg/carry for punishes.

Her legs are weirdly very short during focus attack. It’s not angle either… they literally get shorter.

Between 14:45 and 14:58, her :hk: Lynx Tail whiffs Rufus on the last hit. Is that a glitch?

Hitbox issue. Some charaters with wide-legged stances have no hurtboxes between their legs (at least not during histun), and Lynx Tail probably has a very small hitbox, so it whiffs between the legs. I think Chun-Li has a similar issue with c.LK on M.Bison.
