What do you guys think of this:
Since we know that whiffing normals builds meter. Would anyone be opposed to taunting decreasing the opponent’s meter? Maybe though, you can’t reduce it if the super meter is full, or maybe just any full bars can’t be diminished. I think it’d be a good balance.

I’m concerned with some of the character choices… why would they put Guile in? That was a perfect opportunity to switch it up and put Charlie in.
I also think that since Abel is in, that reduces the chances of Alex (the other MMA/semi-grappler guy) being in.

Vega would be awesome, especially since focus attacks in SF4 make his wall dive nearly useless.

Nah, Tekken is Korea’s game. I would laugh my ass of if I saw Koreans dominating Tekken x Street Fighter. Shit would be the most entertaining dynamic to the competition scene in a long time.

Gametrailers listed Street Fighter X Tekken as a nominee in their “Most Dissapointing” category of their E3 2011 Awards…I will admit that I agree with them as far as the aesthetics go, but if they’d been paying attention, they’d have realized that Ono has even said he knows the visuals are still rough at this point and they’re working on nailing them. As far as their comments on the gameplay itself? I was taken aback, as I consider it incredibly ignorant of GT to judge a fighting games’ depth based on very early play time. ANY fighting game would appear to be a mashy mess if you’ve only been playing for like, an hour at a kiosk. It takes time for any fighting game to develop into something more than that, and if early opinions from the top players (folks whom I’d give much more credence to than Gametrailers as far as FGs are concerned) who’ve gotten their hands on SFxT are any indication, this game is going to have some legs.

Yeah, I still am really annoyed at the thought of even making this game, but there’s no reason to trounce the visuals at THIS early stage. Now if we get to the end of 2011 and into 2012 and the game still looks this bleh…THEN we have a problem. Until then, I think we can hold off.

I want Juri in this game, for real and I really, really, really want Crimson Viper in Street Fighter x Tekken.

I’m not all that confident that she’s going to be in SFxT like I was with MvC3, thanks to CapCom… but god, I want her in and Rose too… but she won’t be in… :<

I remember when people thought Chun was going the be one of the best character in the early MvC3 days…

Now she’s just used for her assist and mash lightning legs in X-Factor lvl 3.

Yeah, I thought she was going to be god-tier in this game too, after being shit-tier in MvC2, but she’s a good solid A-tier and that’s cool with me.

All this to say, I’m pretty sure things will change when the game comes out, but I gotta admit that I like what I’m reading about her right now. Hopefully, she will still be a very good character in the final version of the game.
