Well, not the dive kicks - T6 doesn’t have an air game as far as I’m concerned - but pretty much everything is there: lunge punch, upkicks, shoulder slam, You Hou, etc, etc.
Let’s hope she doesn’t get a dive kick, but yeah, I’ve noticed those you mentioned along with Yun’s fierce poke. If she has Yun’s palm thrust, it’ll probably be used as a wall bouncer and projectile stopper with a less stupid hitbox.
You know, I used to hate on Indestructable, didn’t think that J-Pop boy band shit belonged in SF.
Then I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSMhpKU2iR4&feature=related
Holy fucking shit.

After watching that, I can say that, SFIV doesn’t deserve such an awesome theme.

Wielding around swords whilst dressed in cool armour with fun lighting effects does make things look different.
I never minded the JP version of Indestructible, just the ENG version sounded corny (because I understood it?)
Honestly, I like the music from the trailers a lot more than Industructible and all forms of it. Really worked well for the badassery that is the Tekken side. E3 Trailer music (Knock Me Out Again I think?) in particular got me pretty hype.
I really digged Black Tide-Honest Eyes in the Captivate trailer. That shit got me so hype.
I thought Indestructible was cheesy and everything, but that song grew on me, and I do miss it.
Honest Eyes is the shit though I am curious how they chose these songs and why. They’re not bad, it just seems kind of random.

O_O Fffffffffff-
Luckily I still have this on my hardrive and just bump it while I play xD Such a great song!
And i also liked the fact that in the trailer Kazuya actually looked like he wanted to fucking kill Ryu …for real .None of that friendly sparring bullshit with colorful animations.
EXACTLY. I really prefer the “edgier” tone of this game over the SFIV series.
Got about a 3 hour win streak on SFxT at NCR and even though there’s a few things I’m worried about, I really enjoy the game. There was a camera set up behind me taking footage nearly the entire time, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that shows up at all.
Major first impressions are…
- Chun is easily the best point character in the game as of now, nearly unbeatable in the right hands. Best normals, advantage on block + chip with legs, if legs hits then you can tag in for a massive combo. Really dumb as is.
- Ken is also fantastic, probably just a small bit below Chun due to the chip she can do. Both these characters benefit extremely well from the tag system and have solid normals.
- While I would like to see Chun undergo a big change for balance purposes, I’m perfectly fine with Ken staying as he is to be used as a simple character that helps players get used to all the new systems in the game.
- Raw tagging or tagging while knocked down leads to your incoming character being hit by a really free punish, best bet is tagging after a special move but…
- Many special moves are “unsafe” to tag after as your character heading out has no invincibility. If they die on their way out, you lose.
- As of now, I’m unsure if supers are worth the meter or not as you seem to be able to do great damage by making use of the tag system. They are great for kills though.
- It’s nearly impossible to drop combos once you get used to the system. Being able to hit confirm off practically every normal into a launcher is nuts.
- Alpha counter has no invincibility but is very useful in the same manner tardy cancels were useful in Project Justice. Their purpose is to negate block stun and punish moves that are usually safe. Very useful when understood, getting one bar dramatically changes the pace of a game.
I was afraid some things would be too powerful, but other than Chun, I’ve been able to find answers for pretty much everything that had me concerned. Can’t wait to play it again.

Chun did seem really strong from watching videos. Her air TC seems as retarded as ever, and with the new juggling system she can get a ton of damage out of it.
And honestly, enough games with Chun being good. Make her bad at least once, for crying out loud.
Man what games has Chun really been that good in? A2 and 3S? Bitch needs to shine a bit more.
Play MvC2 and there you go.

I honestly did not even remember she was in MvC2.

Chun is bad in SSF4 AE, so it’s only fair if she is strong again now.
I remember when people thought Chun was going the be one of the best character in the early MvC3 days…
Now she’s just used for her assist and mash lightning legs in X-Factor lvl 3.
All this to say, I’m pretty sure things will change when the game comes out, but I gotta admit that I like what I’m reading about her right now. Hopefully, she will still be a very good character in the final version of the game.
Now, all I’m waiting for is some Asuka gameplay and information.
