I wonder if they’ll redub it for the NA version, since Rufus and Zangief have english voice actors. I think they had a japanese version of that hugo and poison one, didn’t they?

Do the tekken characters that speak english not have japanese VAs? Anyone know? I just realized if they do have japanese VAs, this will be a first since they don’t have ones in Tekken. I’m talking about Nina, Bob, Julia, etc

Considering the other characters in the trailer are with their partners - Bob/Julia - I think it’s safe to assume Rufus is Gief’s partner.

For Rufus, I’m thinking :lk::f::hk: Target combo, EX Snake Strike, Switch Cancel, Partner magic series to switch back to Rufus, end with juggle into :hp: Galactic Tornado>Rufus Super.

They will redub it, all the trailers releasing in English has the SF cast speaking English but on the Japanese website they’re in Japanese… and since this was released by Famitsu of course you’ll have the Japanese version. They’ve probably given the English version to sites like Gamespot and IGN already anyway.

If Zangief and Julia were eating together how come their partners hadn’t met eachother yet?
Probably they weren’t even a team to begin with (JuliaXBob and GiefXRufus makes no sense) and they all met by chance.

Wich means Julia was going out on a date with Zangief… While he was wearing full wrestler attire.

Also, can anyone translate what Gief says?

Didn’t see Rufus coming.

It would be cool if this game had endings for specific SF+Tekken character combinations. KOF had endings for some special teams, like Kyo/Iori/Chizuru in the 90’s. Doesn’t have to be a CGI or anime endings, just some images and good jokes.

Don’t forget that as the most annoying character in the series in terms of playstyle, he’s always been a bit of a scrappy. I just want to see what they can do to him in this game, especially as his okizeme will take a dramatic nerf if left the same way as SF4.

Agreed. R.mika or T.hawk would make great partners.

Also, this trailer ACTUALLY explains the teams.
Rufus starts a fight with Bob
Julias helps Bob out(Team Bob/Julia)
Zangief sees Julia is strong so he fights her, helping out Rufus(Team Gief/Rufus)

Also, maybe it’s because I am dutch but…

I love Rufus English VA. Can anyone tell me what they’re saying near the end? The music is too damn loud and I can’t make out what bob and rufus are saying to each other.
