Lol one of the Voice Directors or someone was on the stream talking about Poison. He was like Capcom said she was a man in the past because it was bad to hit women. Now it’s bad to hit transgender people so she’s a women.

At the panel Poison (with Mr. Ono) was never referred to as a woman.
Every time Poison came up, it was with “he/she”.

But before Street Fighter IV came out, Mr. Ono confirmed that Poison’s a post-op in the US (pre-op in Japan), so that’s probably what the voice director was referring to.

This is stupid. She’s a woman. She was only “changed” to be a transexual due to PR bullshit. She’s always been a woman. All this fuss over her gender is astounding to me.

It seems that capcom like poking the fans with this by not clearing it up. If they said clearly she was and always will be a chick this whole stupidest would be over

I already said in this topic that the lure of Poison is all the stories and confusion. She wouldn’t be Poison without it. It’s what makes her so popular.

Was just going to say that. If Poison was a female and always had been one and there was never any rumors otherwise, she wouldnt be nearly as popular and probably wouldnt be in the game.

Yeah, thats correct. Well, to be exact Cody didnt like her because he was dating Jessica back then. But now, hes also kind of a “bad guy” and hes single, so who knows. Maybe they’ll flesh that out in Sf x T.

One thing that Capcom (Mr. Ono) has made clear is that Poison is not biologically female in any region of the world.

SFxT has a really catchy song on one of the stages, I think its either Jurrasic Park, that Dojo Stage or the city attacked by robots, cant remember but heard it at Comic Con.

Do you know where to find some archived Stream matches? Maybe I could find the games I played on stream at Comic Con and try to explain some stuff I was doing etc. I suck a lot and stuff but idk anything could help.
