You mean color edit. Yeah, I’d love to see that back, but the shenanigans that might come out of it (naked Cammy) could put Capcom off from doing it.

They’re popular enough for people to keep asking for them. If there weren’t legal issues, I’m sure they’d be in newer games.

Meh, I’d rather see the 3rd Strike cast and even Rival Schools characters (despite them not being part of SF) before the EX characters.

Do you guys think that maybe with Cross Assault you’d only have to block the character the user is currently controlling? That seems like it’d be a lot more likely to me than just trying to manually block every single thing coming at you.

Meh, this will only kill unblockables of multi hit moves, still doesn’t solve the issue of mash lights/mediums once you’ve gotten in.

Don’t kill the unblockable setups, stuff like that is actually what alot of us live for. Kill the mash to win combo after someone gets in. Having to do :mp:+:mk: to switch characters (and thus hitting your opponent from behind, preventing them from falling out of the combo) is enough of an execution barrier IMO.

Ugh I’d hate to have CvS2 editing. So many people would have completely black or completely white characters. It’d make the game annoying as fuck to play imo.

Won’t be as annoying though since shadows and shizz are dynamically generated.

That said, we probably wont get something as big as that if you look at it from a technical standpoint (too many colours on the texture). Even if we could change colours, it’ll be certain bits only (clothes).

That’s true. It wouldn’t make sense for his VA to do just one line. I wouldn’t mind them being in anyway so whatever.

I’m looking forward to this, I’m just worried about the mixup/meter usage being dominated by unblockables. “Alright, now always spend your meter tag cancelling your overhead special and doing a low into a combo, or blocking in case they dp/alpha counter.” Unblockables are cool, but only when they’re not the routine imo. :x

Lei would be cool, very unique character with his Kung Fu styles + Drunken Boxing.

Drunken boxing has never been in a Street fighter, I think he’d make a great rival to gen.

We need more kung fu!

Lei is my favorite Tekken Character, so him being in would be awesome.

Also from my understanding the Crossover Attack will be like how it was in MvC which is hard to control and utter chaos, so i am cool with that.

From Tekken, I like Bryan, King and Lili so I’m good with Tekken characters I want in.

Any reps from 3S not in SF4 would make me happy and looks like Hugo could be one of them. Maybe Gief (how could they pass up Gief vs Kuma) and I’ll finally be able to fight Hugo vs Gief. I don’t even like them but I’ll learn one just for this.

but I tried some of the Tekken cast and the only character that I made any sense of was Steve, where I found that none of his kick buttons are normal moves except for cr. short where he does a foot stomp. Instead, the kick buttons are used for dodge maneuvers (and maybe counters?).

this is awesome, seems like he plays a lot like Tekken Steve, with the bobbing and weaving coming from kick buttons

Also yeah this game needs Bryan Fury just because he is so bad ass. Then we could also get Dee Jay because his style would fit this game like a glove.
