Is there any footage of the public playing SFxTK at comic-con? (Particularly footage of Poison)

You best be trolling… You can only activate it if your health bar is flashing, and it does alot of damage, seems like a X-factor in my eyes.

I’m not, in the Gamespot video with Seth, you can clearly see Steve activating it despite having full life. All you need is full meter. All the flashing life bar seems to do is allow you to use it without the need for a full meter - that’s the extent of the comeback in this.

It works. I created that Poison twitter account and proceeded to have my followers bug Ono almost everyday until he gave in. Honestly I think he was just tired of seeing us. Ha. It’s true what they say, the squeeky wheel gets the grease.

I got to play some SFxT at Comiccon today. I should have read up more on how to play it, and I’ll admit that I haven’t been following the development of this game very closely, because I went in having only knowledge of the combo system being chain heavy like Marvel 3. I came out learning that there are some SF4 habits that I’ll need to break to adjust to this new game, like having more block stun on normals means that I have to delay the tick throw setup a lot later than in SF4, and back dashes seem a lot more weak (which IMO is a good thing).

Basic zoning and AA helped me win a T-Shirt some Ryu/Kazuya bobble heads. I played mostly Chun-Li with her easy st. strong to Legs, but I tried some of the Tekken cast and the only character that I made any sense of was Steve, where I found that none of his kick buttons are normal moves except for cr. short where he does a foot stomp. Instead, the kick buttons are used for dodge maneuvers (and maybe counters?). Unfortunately I didn’t spend enough time with Steve to find out what else his kick buttons can do as I was too busy trying to figure out how to play Chun.

If I can get into Comiccon tomorrow, I’ll try to figure out more about Steve, as well as try out some of the new shit that I just learned now from reading through this thread like charged up moves and cross assault.

I knew cody and guy weren’t in it from the start. It looked too good to be true. New challengers sign means nothing. It was just part of the wrestling ring and wasn’t meant to be a hint of any kind. It also looked too obvious. Why would he unveil all those sf characters in one day? Would’ve been a huge imbalance to the roster. Ono tricking us with that sign was pretty clever though.

For Chun, st. strong to Legs then Tag Cancel on the into a basic 123 launch chain with your second is pretty much your BnB.

Street Fighter X Tekken's roster about half-way revealed

The PC release of SSF4 AE is in the top 10 on Steam and Capcom is happy about that, so it’s possible SFxT could see a PC release as well. Ono asked fans please not to pirate AE and to keep asking for SFxT it if they want it

Throws= almost useless man. First, the opponent cant be in ANY sort of blockstun, you need to be really close, an on top of that they do no damage. Good thing is in this game you cant OS crouch tech.

As for Tekken, Ive seen Hworang as ridiculously good imo so far and a pretty basic character with good rushdown and legit combos.

And hey man, ill be playing SfxT tommorow, keep a look out for a white guy with medium length blondish brown hair named Skyler playing Yoshimitsu and Ken

I think it’s strange when Cody says “Seems like we’re late for the party”, or something like that. If they’re not in, that was the hint.

But again, why hire Cody’s VA to record just one line? I think they’re in.

Besides Cody and Guy are definately not bad characters to add in SF x Tekken, Guy has already chain combo, so that’s easy to transition.

You might of missed the memo on how he got that rich. Adopted by Heihachi he feels that he is perfectly suitable to inherit the Zaibatsu. Of course this gets on the other siblings bad side. Well If he is in he needs the ‘excellent’ to go along with it, I’m guessing he’ll be another character to dash through fireballs with his mist step.

Yoshimitsu stance is really weird for me, I am not used to see him crawl like that lol…
Yoshimitsu seems a very complicated character, needs creativity to play him like how he is in Tekken

Steve already looks like a power-house, also Hwoarang, their normals have really strong range and they have very strong combo’s.

Can anyone check if Kazuya’s SRK has any invincibility frames? He has a SRK-like attack, have no one see it use yet

Actually, Lee is godlike, he has a personality, flashy moves and is a pretty-boy to go along with.
