Brazil is a HUGE country, by the way - while the National Scene is still crawling, some states are starting to developing a solid regional scene. I’m for one, working hard on where I live. If you happen to visit us again, be sure to say hi to me lol
Also, if a reveal is truly obvious, chances are that people will not care at all (you can see that at the Tekken side: while Lli, for example, got a warm feedback from a lot of people, she was pratically confirmed to be in the game - there wasn’t any mad hype for her at all).
Toss Dr. B, Ganny, Leo, Jun or Kuni in the mix and people will talk for days. The more obscure the character is (ie, being “unexpected”), the more hype it brings.
Any obscure characters people are hoping made the roster? So far I got Poison and Hugo.
I’m still missing Alex,Elena,Karin,Maki,Eagle (CVS2 google him IDK), and Leo.
I want so bad a Poison/Eagle team. Not just because the obvious but because I had SO MUCH fun playing Eagle and people would fall in love with him if he was put in this game. Such an underrated, underused character imo.
Leo isn’t exactly well known Rooky. Most people have no idea who she is,why she fights,and it wasn’t to long ago someone had to post a vid declaring Leo a girl so they likely don’t even know her gender. I think she fits.
When is the next event anyway? All these characters are pretty much confirmed but we’re sitting with our thumb up our butts talking about nothing at this point. Are waiting for UMVC3 to come out so we can get news on SfxT? I feel like that’s the case.
Hoping for Alisa, she isn’t really obscure just very new to the Tekken side of things. Kunimitsu would be cool too, but I think Ono would leave bringing her back up to Harada. A Soul Calibur character crossing into the game would be really neat too.
On the Capcom / Street Fighter side of things I would like to see Gouki or any of the more oddball characters from Street Fighter III.
If they’re going to add non-tekken and non-SF characters I’d prefer they get all the Tekken characters right now and wait for Capcom x Namco (Instead of doing Super SF x T)
Alisa is only obscure in the tournament scenes, by the way - since no one have the balls to use her competitively - and US players in general don’t do much outside Law/Paul/Steve/Lars/Bob/Mishimas.
Either way, yay for more support. Alisa really needs it.
In all seriousness, for me, I’m kinda’ done worrying about the gem system and being all “on the fence” for now. I’m still good to go, although I will speak my worry about gems if asked (as if anyone’d care what I have to say lol!).
So yeah, I need some more official character reveals soon. Preferably of Karin / Juri / Asuka or any such characters…
