NONE of those characters are carefree. Eddy has a serious debt to payback and has to hide the fact that he’s become a killer from Christie. Alisa is a girl who has lost her humanity and is constantly struggling to be normal when she has no people skills and can’t fully control her combatic weapons.
Zafina is in no way care free she is a trained assassin who was tasked to protect the world from an ancient demon/dragon so what what are you talking about?
I am sick of these “I like goofy characters” people only because just because someone isn’t smiling the whole fight ( which is stupid and unrealistic because they are being hit very hard) doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy fighting.
@ Brennan King very much has a personallity just because he doesn’t jump around like an dumbass doesn’t mean he isn’t a deeper character than others. I disagree with people who think characters who aren’t smiling aren’t enjoying themselves or are not fun.
You guys need to look under the surface of some characters because KIng has WAY more character development than Elena (love her) or any of the EL’s. I very much disagree.
King doesn’t have personality - which doesn’t make him a bad character, though. Yet he sure received a lot of character development regarding his backstory and whatnot - which is pretty different than expanding a character’s personality.
Take Anna - she’s pretty much with the same plotline ever in all of the canon games (killing Nina/whatever), yet she constantly received elements to her personality in the subsequent games. And yet we have Jun, who lacks pretty much everything regarding on how a character should be “built” - and her fanbase rivals even the mainstays of the cast. And none of them are bad characters per se.
The advertising for the game is killing my interest more than every Gem combined.
I think it gave me cancer. I’m suing Capcom.

The truly sad part is I’m more interested with arguing Tekken character’s awesomeness than talking more about this game’s growing gameplay mechanic list. I can’t possibly imagine what could be next for this game but thankfully I think Gems are the last one.
@ Brennan I still disagree. Even not speaking King has more personality than half of vanilla SF4’s cast. Him not talking is just another part of his personality and you can’t say Lars or Marduk have as much of one as King does.
You’re comparing Tekken character to SF ones.
Of course that the former suffer more than the latter regarding character development. :lol:

Chances are that the event will cover more about SCV than anything else. If BGS is any indication, don’t get your hopes up.
King has plenty of personality through his fighting style. When you’re fighting, that’s all you need.
