The Gems activates under certain conditions (ex. getting hit by “X” amount of normals, or hit someone with a special. and cost meter.

Maybe the auto-teching gems have to be activated and they break after some time? That would be fine if it lasted as long as Pandora and you had to give up better, less bullshit gems for it, so it still gives a little bit of help for newbies, but any decent player would rather not pick those kinds of gems.
Or maybe auto-teching/auto-block gems come with some sort of downside to it that makes it completely impractical for anything other than first time players trying to learn the game.
I’d be fine with that.
I better not hear another complaint about MVC3 as long as I live.

Damn CC…this is how it looks like itll go by the sound of it. TBH even if they give you the option of disabling the Gem system when making an endless lobby or something, even that won’t make me satisfied since If most players don’t play without the system Im gonna be forced to play with it on. ;/ I want it to be a real separate…separate thing, like a whole new mode like endless match lol.
