I’m adding everyone that is on psn cause I’m tired of playing people that beat me once and kick me after they beat me even though it was like 20-1 lol. So if you get a friend request from fightwithdignity, accept it!

might wanna check it frame by frame, to me it looks like he can cancel into backdash before the SS even starts up. I’d do it if I could record properly.

for reference, fastest SS xx BD cancel = no dust under jins feet at all

The best way to test it without equipment is to use Jin’s 8 frame Thrusting uppercut (Mist Step > LP) and see the the fastest it can come out. If it can punish 8-15 frame moves, then that means Jin can cancel mist step before its startup is completely done. If it takes 16 or more frames, then you know what that means.

i mean it being able to cancel before the start up might be exclusive to the backdash…

There aren’t any moves like that with exclusive startup times for the cancels afaik. But who knows, maybe the backdash itself is special. but I doubt it

That’s a good idea. When my stream is up people there was always discussion on the stream chat – even when it was off. Only thing is it may be redundant to have another place to hang out once my stream is running again cough cough SECDEF cough cough

Does anyone know if it’s possible for Vega to do jump in fierce > first hit of standing fierce XX fierce RCF?

The frame data says you need 59 frames to charge for RCF, I’m wondering if that’s possible from a jump in. Only reason I’m trying to combo into RCF is because it leaves the opponent standing.

It is possible I believe, the hit-freeze of the jumping fierce with the hit-freeze of the standing fierce should give you enough time if you charge right when you jump.

Though why not jumping fierce, clst.hp, cr.mp xx HP RCF? Scaling?

As LW said, it is possible. It is pretty easy actually, once you get used to charge characters. Also mp/hp/ex rcf only combo from cl.hp, else vega would have infinites (since hp rcf is +4 on hit)

I got it to connect today. It’s really weird, the cancel timing of the first hit of close fierce is strange. Not sure if this will ever be doable online.

bryan can trade mp/hp/ex dp anti air
mp/hp/ex dp trade -> j hp -> mp/hp fisherman slam -> ender for silly damage and positioning though i don’t remember the exact numbers atm

trading with ex dp makes the j hp easier but keep in mind ex dp does 50 damage because capcom

if u gdlk you can trade with jack lp dp for silly damage as well, if u 2gdlk and it doesn’t trade, still get silly damage ¯(°_o)/¯

Hwo can definitely make his DP trade. I find it hard to get Gat’s to trade.
