So the game comes tomorrow, very excited for it actually, been watching some of the recent major matches including the last tfc matches.

I’m going to start off with Ryu/Ken until I get the hang of the game. Are there any duos in the game that are canon teams and good? I know Chun is top tier, is cammy any good? My main in sf4 is sagat but I ain’t using Sim. I also used King/Marduk in ttt2, but I have no idea how good those two are in this game.

Can’t believe no one mentioned Jin/Xiaoyu… T.T

Jin/Xiaoyu I didn’t mention for the same reason I didn’t mention Julia/Bob, Hwo/Fox, and a few others. I know they are teams consisting of two great characters, but I do not know enough about how well they compliment each other and I have not personally seen them.

He can, he just has to be smarter about it. Just like every other Shoto-esque character in this game.

Agreed. “Can’t play lame” is a little strong. It’s not the easiest thing for him to do in this game but he can do it, and it can still be pretty effective.

Thats why I said “if”. Its all open for speculation. It doesnt matter what was going through his head. Daigo took it very seriously and worked hard for it. That is worthy of respect.

The next time I get a message (hate mail or compliment mail) after a SFxT match, I’m going to troll message them with, “Only you can prevent forest fires!”. Truth be told I don’t I’ve ever gotten hate mail for playing Kuma. People either give compliments or ask for tips lol.

Microphone reactions are too gold. I had one guy yell out “THAT’S NASTY!” after a KOing him with a super. People tend to yell over the mic when you throw them out of a roll too.

I had a dude jump into flash kick tag cancelled into st. roundhouse xx super from Kuma to win the match.

He hadn’t said a thing all game so I didn’t even know he had a mic and I just heard him shout “WHY THE FUCK DID I JUMP JUST THEN.”

Well I think the “Infiltration was getting data” is wrong because even if it wasn’t an event like SS, EVO ect Daigo said that Akuma is weak. Yeah he dared to say that after losing to Infiltration for a year. I’d surely play my best if I was Infiltration to prove him wrong, that’s competition !

Asuka/Lili -> Fun team, not so great synergy and they don’t complete each other well. Lili needs meter (so I think she’s better as anchor) and Asuka needs a partner with good footsies. Lili’s footsies aren’t so bad but they are both better with… Chun for exemple.

Jin/Xiaoyu -> That team was TOO good in v.2012 with Xiao’s breakdance loop, good times lol. The damage is still here, Jin is good on point and can bring Xiao in to do her mixups with his two hit launcher, Thrusting Uppercut or MLD. Their defense is not so great though.
