Some of the characters have weird things. Some of the DLC characters have RYU’s eff.bac, and some of the characters have weird eff.bac’s that are pretty much their normal bac’s, but with the scripts removed. I am not sure why or if it affects anything, but yeah, its kinda weird.
Also, the CMN bac is included in the dumps now!
Here’s a few Unknown Hurtbox values. I haven’t tested them yet, will do when I get a chance, but they’re values I noticed cross-referencing across multiple characters.
Unk6, counters
0 = normal
1 = crushes only standing moves
2 = crushes only crouching attacks
4 = crushes only air attacks
44 = counters all grounded attacks (used in heihachi’s counter)
4b = counters only air attacks (used in King’s air counter)
4e = counters high and mid-level attacks (used in King’s other counter)
Unk8 has a value of 48 if the move is a counter-move. It may be used with other things.
Unk11
1 = hitbox that cannot be hit by projectiles
3 = normal hitbox, it’s possible these cannot be thrown
4 = throwable hitbox, cannot be hit
Unk12 designates an armored hitbox, 1 if the hit has 1 hit of armor. There are no attacks with multiple hits of armor, so I don’t know if going higher values attaches more potential hits.

HI,I was editing the moves in the dumps of the xml.But I don’t know how to put them in the game.E.g. I want to add sagat’s tiger shot to paul.and akuma’s fireball move to bison while retaining their original moves and dhalsim’s flame moves to zangief.

Dantarion hasn’t finished/released a tool to go from XML back into the game. However, you can use the information from the XML to manually edit the files in a hex editor. Otherwise, just wait for the final tool to be released.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious that we’re allowed to discuss modifying the game’s programming, allowing us to perform unauthorized actions with the characters, but if we so much as talk about coloring a character anything other than black and white (on PC, currently) the entire thread can be nuked.

Welcome to the world of DLC. There is no point in me making something that conflicts with something that Capcom wants to sell. I understand that even for someone like me, if Capcom sent me a C&D letter, I would simply stop. So, I do my best not to step on any game companies toes when it comes to modding games. Rule #1 in doing so is…don’t bother anything that affects their revenue stream. This means no DLC.
