Well most are.
I think they lost the basic idea of how CCs should work during the first two Betas.
Bad Range, Slow, doesn’t hit Crouchers, is hella unsafe, doesn’t give much reward yadda yadda.
Thinking of it, I think with Rashid they stoped with “lets give it a downside”.
I disagreed that people throwing CC buttons out is random, when he presses buttons to stop them from dashing.
If someone stands dashrange away and presses lights the whole time, I’m going to press my Big Button to say hello.
People throwing their unga bunga buttons out in the Neutral has been the case since 2016.
I don’t disagree with that being bad.
Oh, I didn’t see this. Not salty, idk why you keep up this weird act between us, just be normal. The discord was actually concerned for your mental well-being when you said you had no life/no friends and said “Why? I’m happy with not having a real life. I have some weird place were I go 3-4 times a week to get money for like 8 hours.” < direct quote. Then made a couple of sad comments before leaving the next day.
We all thought you were depressed or some shit and that’s why you left, I actually didn’t get around to reaching out to you post-leave. My bad. You sound fine though, so I assume you got bored of nobody replying to your weird outbursts.
I was being sarcastic, about the no life stuff.
I literally hated my old job though, got a new one. Everythings better now.
I literally work less for more Money.
Also decided to burn some thousand Euros on Merchandise and a New PC. Hope the new one holds again 10 years.
Can’t remember why I left, I just know that I played more BB after I left and actually, that made me reenjoy Fighter for the longest time in a while.
Literaly I enjoy them again. Hasn’t been the case for like 10 years or so, only reason I keeped playing SFIV was because I had friends who also played it.
And they all left with SFV, for whatever reason.
I hated the lights festival SF4 was too, but that’s not always the case in V, some CCs are used to fill the space where you would be supposed to be good at playing footsies. I mean, I think everyone here knows how to play outside the opponent CC range, what’s annoying is how the implementation of them almost force some players to abuse this mechanic especially when whiff punish some CCs are more easy to say than do that. You get clipped even if dash in isn’t the option, but even if you try to use non lights buttons, sometimes playing some guys like being in an old wild West showdown, who’s press first win. I’m sure Capcom hasn’t finished yet with adjusting the system to please everyone, we’ll see what’s next in S4.
Ideas would be to make the CCs a Strong option, but make them vulnerable at different points.
The first few characters had all downsides to their CC Buttons this was gone after a while.
More CC Buttons should be like Ryus, Cammys or Chuns.
You know we are getting really close to CPT finals when we start dickering around with redesigning CCs and waxing about X-kira “leaks” and character wishlisting. Its like seeing the leaves change color.
Apparently the arcade cab build has PP/BP in it. Would be nice if that made it back to the home version (my guess is that it will, I don’t see them maintaining two different builds).
Yeah that is the one thing he has said I have legit hope for. I always thought they would port MvCI netcode over after it turned out to be a pretty big improvement. Use all the viable parts of the corpse.
The one thing that makes me think that could be legit is that the arcade cab builds look like they can run online matches. If you were going to deploy a netcode upgrade, that is the time to do it.
Since he ‘guessed’ right everything else, I guess people will forgive X-Kira if his rumors about characters aren’t true.
The only way to implement BP/PP in the game is resetting the actual rankings, would be hilarious if Capcom does that.
