Funnily enough since we’re on the subject of that, I saw that Arcade set-up twice today between two different stores I was at.
Only thing that’s keeping me from dumping money on it too is the fact that my friends and I all hate playing on Arcade Sticks as it is, so might as well just stick to the 30th Anniversary Collection XP

I have a frame data question.
Why can Necalli frame trap 3f buttons from using light stomp after a minus 4 move at point blank range?
I was getting trolled but this Master Necalli that was doing cr.MK on hit (+2) into light stomp which is 14 frame start up. I was seeing the counter annotation pop up like 3 times before my stupid self said stop pressing buttons. But when I went to see how to deal with it it looks like you basically can’t. I set Kolin to do st.LP, cr.LP, st.MK, st.MP etc etc and it beats everything every time.
I hate feeling like I’m getting trolled by shit that isn’t real.

and you’re blocking the stomp? Or are you blocking the cr.mk and then getting hit by stomp?
If he’s doing cr.mk raw and then going into stomp, it’s because stomp pulls Necallis hurtbox back. Press St.hp or backdash they should work.
Its cause he’s canceling the move. Its only +2 after the full animation plays out and he returns to neutral, since he is canceling it the full animation does not play out and a giant chunk of it just gets deleted when the cancel happens. I ain’t know the exact amount of frames between the lost canceled frames of cr.mk and light stomp but obviously its enough to frame trap you then.

I forgot Necalli existed, all the good ones are in rank, strictly. Necalli gets shit like that because we didn’t get a chance to nerf him in S1 :^( Last good Necalli I played was that Nyce guy who really isn’t a Nyce guy.
Cr.mk xx LK. Stomp is a 2f gap IIRC because it beats 3fs, it would trade if it were 3f gap

Lmao twin… frame data changes when moves are being canceled.
Who in the hell have you been playing agai st to just now notice this… cr.mk xx lk stomp is a standard necalli blockstring/confirm into super.
Go into training mode and do any characters cancelable but negative moves and cancel them into specials… you’ll notice that you “usually” can’t stop blocking if they canceled into a move that is 10 frames of startup or less… that’s called a true blockstring. Moves that are around 15 or so frames can usually frame trap, moves that are around 20 frames or so can usually be easily interrupted. This is assuming a cancel from a medium. From heavies you get a smaller gap, from lights you get the biggest gap, and all moves arent made the same so these “rules of thumb” can vary widely.
Question to anyone, why are some outfits like final fight Cody and OG sagat unavailable? How do we unlock them?

Yeah when i click on cody it just says current selection unavailable after i tell it i want to buy on steam. Seems pretty dumb to have costumes available that cant be bougt or are out of season.
Anyone in here doinked around with omen of sorrow yet? I copped ot when i saw it was ggpo. Havent played it yet but its a small indie group of people that know FG, ao ive got my fingers crossed for something good.
