Ghostwire looked pretty promising too.
Apparently Nakamura’s completely directing it.
She did art for Okami and assistant directed the Evil Within games.
Hope she has some new ideas now that Mikami lets her have control.

There was nothing noteworthy about Elden King’s reveal. That was some random pre-rendered CGI stuff that might as well have been for any other FromSoftware IP.
I have no doubt the game will be interesting at least but the way they revealed it was really lame.
FFVIII is one of my fav FF. The card game and draw system was fun as hell and also your summons was very important.

FS always does CG reveals and they never let people down. They are one of those devs where you know what kind of quality you’re gonna get.

I also hate nonsense CGI trailers with a passion. Show some gameplay or at least a trailer with a bit of gameplay. Otherwise just stay quiet until you’re ready to.

There is some off screen gameplay footage for the which looks pretty okay.
It’s such a weird game that’s it’s tough to judge without playing yourself.

I’m not saying Karin isn’t a top tier. I am saying the reason she’s the focus of conversation is Punk’s dominance. The FGC always puts a laser focus on the character used by the current top player. One of the reasons, I’ve always liked @DevilJin_01 's posts, is that he has made a habit of identify a top tier character that either no one is talking about or people were downplaying.
