Well said, I was going to speak on it but… I’ve seen this kind of “behavior” before and usually said person still gets upsets and then moves on from fighters.
It’s really weird how a non competitive person can get into fighters competitively.
trash talk and fighters are like peanut butter and jelly. They go hand and hand…
And even though the current fgc is the tamest its ever been trash talk is still very much a crucial part of improvement.

No I don’t. I post my matches for people to critique for a reason. Just been lazy about recording lately.
What I refuse is people saying I’m good or play well. Look at Doctrine or Frost. Then look back at me. And ask yourself if saying that still applies.
Because I don’t feel I deserve people rooting for me or any of that. What have I done to earn that? What do I have compared to anyone else here who’s far more worthy of it?
Doctrine’s actually talented, Frost is strong and funny, DevilJin is the community man…I’ve got nothing. Just feels wrong to have people rooting for me when I don’t have anything to back it up.

See, the problem here is you. Has tits all to do with any behavior you don’t like. You have deep seated problems with yourself.
You spend more time defending some a game played by unwashed shit asses that throw dead animals at each other than you do taking care of your psyche.
Your issue, as I mentioned before, is basically you. You have a problem with yourself that you won’t admit to and it fucks everything else that you want to do. That’s the real thing going on right now.

In my book, it is that you try. Try very hard in fact. You don’t get the results you want but you are putting in the game time and research time, cobbling together vids, looking for feedback, soliciting games, trying to play those better players, (savagely) self critiquing as a means of improvement.
Out of all the people who play and post on here, a small portion of those people are really out there gunning for improvement. Even if you aren’t improving the way you’d want to be I think it is worth giving someone props for being one of the ones out there trying.
This is why Twin had so many people rooting for him during his Ascendance Arc but now that he is sort of drunkenly yelling at Ultra Diamond we just talk about Marvel stuff and pretend like LPs are just records.
I legit think anyone working to improve in this game deserves at least some props because it is a fucking pain in the ass of a game to play a decent chunk of the time. Like learning to juggle with live scorpions right outta the gate.
