Does anyone know any good guides for gaining weight? I’m trying to put on 20-30 lbs along with exercise, but I’m finding the eating aspect hard.
MyFitnessPal says i should be eating close to 2700 calories a day and without cheating with some super unhealthy fast food im always several hundred calories short, even eating more than i normally do.
In fact it says im probably losing weight.

Ignore your fitness pal. As long as you aren’t downing those calories from fast or fried food alone you can have a cheat meal or a crazy desert here and there. Especially if your looking to gain and exercising while doing so.
Pick a combo and stick to it.
Breakfast: oatmeal (real oatmeal, not that garbage in packets with a bunch or sugar), eggs, sausage, protein bar or shake.
Snack: peanut butter and apples, pb&j, protein bar/shake, fruit, trail mix, cereal (healthy stuff like Cheerios)
Lunch: fish, chicken, deli sandwiches with good bread, veggies w/rice.
Snack again.
Dinner: pork chops, chicken, steak, veggies w/pasta.
Hitting high calorie intake(the healthy way) is a bitch. Take it slow and don’t kill your gains with too much cardio.
Cardio is for nerds. Eat like a fat fuck and work out until you have a gut.
Then do cardio.
Steak, cheese, nuts, protein shakes and gym.

The eating part gets easier as long as you stay consistent and you start packing on the muscle and burning more fuel.

Well before last week i only eat when necessary and and i have time. I have a pretty irregular schedule and its rare for me to eat 3 whole meals in a day. But besides all that i find cooking tedious af and even eating is time i could be doing something else.
For me eating is a function not something i enjoy. I don’t even bother seasoning my food or buttering my toast anymore because i don’t care about the taste.
