Yeah, the very nature of the game can be an issue for a lot of people. As you said, it’s nothing to do with skill or knowledge. Most of this comes down to how you adjust to certain situations that might present a problem for you. All too often we can be cruising through a match and then shit just explodes and we’re left dumbfounded. If there’s one thing that changed a lot for me, it was knowing when a match was lost. Sometimes all it takes is pinpointing that to feel less egregious about the lost.
Tilt sucks. You can actually feel when it’s beginning,too. You want to jump back in to wash the feeling away, but then you’ll end up piling on more negative energy than you want.
Most of your journey through Ranked is going to come down to “Trial and Error”. Back when I was in Diamond, I’d often ask highly Ranked players what their “secret” was. More times than not, they’d say that there is none. I had no idea why they were so simplistic in their response, but I eventually understood what they meant. You can’t answer a question like that that wouldn’t apply to every other league.
It’s like an RPG. You hit a new level (League), then have to take down even stronger enemies to continue moving up. We don’t unlock Limit Breakers or hidden techniques like RPG’s, but our understanding in uncomfortable situations will expand.
Just keep playing, my dude. Enjoy the W’s and L’s that come with the path. Don’t allow them to bust your groove.

@DevilJin_01 Thanks for the tips in the last thread. I was really rusty in those matches because, between RE2 in January/February and Sekiro recently I took huge breaks from SFV and I still haven’t returned to play consistently. I was just playing really badly.

Carrying on, I’ve discovered that @Cipher was interested in money matches in 16’. This leads me to believe that he is indeed a former member gone rouge.
