Highland has never told me what company he works for, I’ve never asked either I don’t think… maybe years ago when I didn’t care what the answer was…
Me, I worked for an outfit called Linkforce. It’s a shutdown contracting company and we worked primarily for Rio Tinto, FMG and BHP which are the biggest mining companies in Australia having multiple camps across WA’s Pilbara region. The camps I worked for were all iron ore camps which is probably one of the better types of camp to work for.
Anytime I thought about complaining I remembered we didn’t have it as bad as the guys below ground. That shit is fucked.
Nor did we have it as bad as the gold mine guys where they have to work with cyanide as part of the job description and sometimes it would get bad enough in parts per million, the guys would have to stay inside till the levels recovered.
Rofl all these mining talk brings me back to my world of warcraft days where I’d fly all over with my mount to mine thorium, gold etc and sell them on the auction house.
Yeah we still play.
I’m still on the in and out of whether i want to actually try to play more sf5. More than likely not. I’ve never practiced any form of execution on sf5 outside of learning a characters blockstrings and of course lots of 1 hit confirm training… that’s the only execution training I really bother with.
Both he and I get games from our discord now. I play against him and @Brabochoke mainly.
I don’t like the game enough to go to locals and shit, I don’t think Highland does either, tbh. But he did go to a local tournie for the first time in years about a month or so back.
Played for 2 hrs through 5 disconnections and laggy matches, the first place goes to a Master Juri salty af for being perfected in less than 10 seconds. He won the match right after and he had time for a taunt lol. While playing another laggy ass Ryu the servers kicked me out for the last time. I tried to re-enter again, but the PSN is under maintenance.

P.S. I’ve tried for 2 weeks the Sanwa Silent buttons 2nd gen, but something feels off to me playing with them. Maybe I’m too used to the previous ones, but if someone has the possibility to try these new buttons let me know about your thoughts.

Yeah several times but it’s pretty common since I live in a southern rural area. Dude handed me a pamphlet and was asking to pray with me on the sidewalk.
