In a midscreen tech situation, Young Zeku can do an LP palm to beat or trade with all cammy post tech buttons.
Old Zeku gotta hold that though.
But against Necalli, old Zeku’s St.HP beats all of Necalli’s post tech buttons.
Also midscreen tech situations are different than corner tech situations. Will post more the more I mess around with this.

Strider played his ass off in this tournament. Glad he was able to win.

We’ll see how the character holds up going into the Combo Breaker/ CEO/ Evo portion of the year. If your character is doing damage there, then your character has legs.
Alex Myers was a match away from putting Strider into losers from winners. Considering his Cammy is still a notch under the top top ones that shows Cammy is a real threat for G. People still getting bopped by stuff they should be seeing or used to from G, but until then its free damage.
801 winning that set gave him the momentum he needed. Didn’t lose after that and was very interesting that Smug’s G looked like it had way more cracks in the armor. Even Justin’s Karin was giving Smug’s G problems.
Think Gustavo just binds really well with the character who does have really good buttons and neutral which fits Gustavo. Just still the same shit leading into Combo Breaker. A tournament with a lot more killers will mean he will run into more problem matchups and likely struggle to get to top 3 if he even gets there.
If Smug is to get there, same thing. He’ll need to bust out Boxer because his G isn’t doing it on its own.

He’s not. I’d put him a little under where Abigail was in S3, but that won’t show until people figure out the neutral and his mix ups a bit better. He still is a do or die character and not a good character for consistently winning tournaments. The way he’s designed ultimately forces him to never be consistent. Gustavo will be fated to that the more tournaments that go by and the more people figure G out.
