He plays Juri and Ed. Seems like he’s shifted more of his focus to Juri.
I mean it’s not like Infiltration plays her nearly as much as Menat anyways, at least GentThief can actually rep the character more I feel.
The ed discord thinks he’s terrible bottom of the barrel. I don’t, but the sum of all his parts unfortunately don’t add up to much, either.
I mean these guys think a +3 on block move that hits further than half screen and beats fireballs, needs to be the same speed as ibukis overhead, or Ed’s current vt2. That’s like making Mika’s charged st.hk hit in 26 frames instead of its current 35.
A character would have to be pretty bad to warrant that kind of buff.
To me Ed’s primary problem is that he doesn’t convert well from range because all his specials are either slow startup or have no range.
For me what I would do to “fix” him would be make his st.hk like -1 or -2 or take away its extended hurtbox on block. If it became -2 or better I d take away its CC ability and just have it be a good poke that gets him in closer.
I he’s one “very” good move away from being top 5 imo.
But at this point in time he’s probably bottom 5 or bottom 10.
Ed should stay bad just so we don’t have to be constantly subjected to his school shooter rap theme

He’s been pretty much the Juri of America, just was huge online warrior that didn’t travel much. He got close to top 32 at last Evo I believe. He’s been a top VF player for years.
Definitely most tech driven Juri so we’ll finally be able to see a Juri that really optimizes their shit. His Ed and Kage are pretty solid also.
