I expect a 3 character season. SF6 isn’t far away, end of next year at CC2019 it probably gets revealed.
I tried to block out his “console” but I finally decided to check out the reviews.
Yo, he has fighting games on the console but there’s no way configuration options for the emul-I mean console LOL. Watching some guy named MadLittlePixel and he tried to play raw Street Fighter 2. This is comedy gold. The games still have their file type extensions like “zip” or “fba.”

I decided to look up this console thing and it’s pretty gracious of him to put 2 controllers in there. Stingy consoles these days only give you one.

No season pass is lame but I guess now I can at least buy Kage and not worry about getting boned like a week later when they announced it.
I don’t get the worry about a small season. I keep looking at the character select screen and it really looks like they squeezed everything in so they could wedge at least a few more slots on the sides.
If anything I could see them kicking out more than 6 chars this season as a way to make it sort of the last big year before they start to really lean into SF6.
No season pass because the model doesn’t fit with a bigger release schedule and also because they plan to run a longer character cycle this time around maybe to get them all out.
Capcom are pretty fucking stupid sometimes but I don’t think they’ll pass on a chance to squeeze one last full year of DLC $ out of the player base.

If and when the game ever gets to that I’m out anyway. Once it becomes a cluster fuck of options it’s not pure enough for me.
I will be interested to see what happens if you press all 6 buttons at once though.

Also since abigail has a true sweep now you can CC sweep, VT 2, small delay, true meaty full charge headbutt thats 100% unavoidable and if you try to reverse through he can just armour through it and punish your recovery I guess?

There will be more characters. I’d imagine they are just changing strategy because it’s likely the last season or very close to.
Squeeze out as much cash at the end as you can. Don’t blame them, it’s hardly been a giant success.
