He’s neutral jumping the fireballs which is good, throws shot game off just a touch.
Punk has quite literally some of the best reactions ever seen in a fighting game player.
He’s probably on the level reaction wise as TOMO.
Yeah I like watching him play as well because he makes sf5 look like actual streetfighter. People can’t dash against him or do yolo neutral bullshit. And his cinfirm ability makes his pokestrings look like normal streetfighter cancel strings since he never gets punished for them (or only very rarely). He’s the only person that plays the game and makes it look like winning is easy and obvious. Only other player I’ve seen really play like that consistently is daigo. Most other players have to make super beautiful reads or have some level of execution that is godlike. Punk just kinda walks around and destroys people, like the computer on insane.
Idk if I’d call it godlike, it seems more of a crutch.
That’s possible
First day of the year and I make an Akuma ragequit with Chun. Not a huge fan of this game but that always feels good.
On the other hand I still keep losing to Abigail. Thank god they keep nerfing him and making him less popular because I’ll never get used to his fucking retarded hurtbox.
Shit like that gets me, like I’ll take a lot of the same scenario because I always think the odds are better that they will switch it and I can get out with av reversal.
I’m like Daigo like that, eat 3 command grab in a row lol
I did back dash one and punish later in the set though. It’s a very good trigger, total match changer.
I’m working during these days, but I would gladly take my ration of TS🙂
What you’ve said about the general level is true, just because with a bigger playerbase the skill is diluted. Playing against some Diamonds online and offline, I’ve realized most of them get there just grinding with no tomorrow.
Very true, I noticed that at the offline tourney I went to. A lot of the players were Diamond ranked but not up to much.
Saying that it can’t be overstated how much nerves play offline at an event. I’d say it’s probably just as important. I even felt myself playing too safe, giving myself pep talks and I’m fucking 38 lol.
I’ve only travelled for big UK events and I heavily overestimate everyone I play and probably end up losing for it
I think it’s amplified, you’re way more scared if eating a CC or a DP offline. It’s like every exchange is double the risk.
That’s what proper competition does though. Having something on the line makes it much harder.
That’s partly why I think they went to FT3 in this game because you can quite easily get scrubbed out by a nobody over two games.
I believe it was CPT that mostly coerced 3/5 and 3/5 tends to only happen towards the later part of brackets or if it’s a smaller major/regional, only top 8. I remember saying during Ultra IV’s Capcom Cup Finals that top 32 being played only 2/3 until top 8 was lame.
If you’re in a death bracket like that everything should be at least 3/5 regardless of the game or players. Stupid to prepare all year for a 32 man death bracket in a genre of games where a 2/3 set can last no more than 6 minutes. Most every other competitive game genre has player vs player sets that last longer than that.
Wth i just realized training mode has no option to make the bot tech throws…
I drunk coffee and wine again god help me
I had coca cola and wine last night. Was fun. Caffeine picks you back up after the wine slows you down.
I had two shots of rum mixed with wine cooler last night and go drunk beyond repair.
It was a mistake and I am paying dearly for it today.
This is the one day nobody can shame you for drinking (unless you had to go to work the next morning) so hey. If you’re not at the job nobody can say you’re not being productive because you’re being a hangover zombie.
Try being teetotal, life is rough out here when you want to drink. But it’s probably for the best I don’t go back into alcohol consumption…
I started out last night with a nice dinner with friends, before I went to a party where everyone had been drinking for six hours. And the hostess and her roomie and one of the hostess’ best friends are in a huge love triangle drama, it turns out. I had to go psychologist-mode for all of them, and all of them paid for my help in booze.
My head now tells me to never, ever give those people relation ship advice again. Or at least drink slightly less of the shit they give me as thanks.
Don’t have any. I think New Years Resolutions are asinine. If you need to do something, if you need make a change. You do it. Don’t wait until January 1st. Life isn’t guaranteed, you may not even make it to January 1st.
As someone who’s never drunk before (aside from wine once which I hated the taste of), what the hell is the benefit of drinking anyway
Just seems like at best you lose your sense of self and at worst you feel like garbage afterwards for little to no benefit. Doesn’t seem worth it
