The game probably isn’t even coming out til like late summer, plenty of time to get the marketing wheels turning. Only thing I am worried about is the only thing I am ever worried about SNK games. Will they finally learn to swallow their dumb fucking japanese pride and get rollback netcode. I love KOF13 and 14 to death but that shit is unplayable online.

After letting it sit for a bit, I’m really starting to think the rumor that Capcom wants SF6 to be a near launch game might have merit.
It’s basically expected that 2020 will be the next console generation release year. They would have to be in development now.
Also, I really do think something was up with both Sagat and G releasing on the same day.
Course it does. I have been saying SF6 is a launch window game for ps5 for like half a year now. Only way it doesn’t happen is if Sony doesn’t pony up and re-do the deal, which would be ludicrous not to because making that deal moves way more than just SFV sales, it wins over the entire FGC to your platform in the end.

I dont think its anything more than them finishing development early for S3 early. They got a lot of stuff going on for S4 so radio silence until its ready is better than lots of talk of promises they cant keep

I don’t know man I’m not buying SF6 coming out that soon. Maybe like a few years after the launch but no way are we getting that shit in such a short time frame.
Matt already said the story isn’t done and with the cabs launching in Nip land I don’t see SFV going anywhere.
