You know, i barely play it but GG’s characters are growing on me a bit. I already liked Pot and Ram but Dizzy and Jam are pretty cool too. There are like half a dozen characters i could see myself maining if i actually played the game.
Pot still my boy tho. I remember i was playing some from here (back when Revelator was the popular anti-SFV game) and got him with hammerfall brake into CG. He may be big and slow but you scoop a nigga one time and no matter how bad you’re losing you are back in the game.
I always wanted to try AH3 but none of the local guys wanted to play it. Basically DBF before DBF but with sillier nonsense. Definitely a game where the artwork made sure a bunch of people didn’t play it.
First game with a homing dash IIRC. The mechanics were pretty cool too. The arcana system was basically picking an assist. One of the arcanas was a little plant that increased your luck, if you got lucky enough with it you could get an infinite with it.
There’s like one vid with it and everybody was getting hype AF when it happened.
I ain’t trying to explain to niggas why I’m playing a game with a bunch of little girls in dresses and skirts. Always low key wanted to play arcana heart tho. My mother in law stopped by while I was playing SF once and she commented on Laura’s breasts hanging out that was bad enough lol.
Yeah, that’s the downside to all the fanservice stuff. Its kind of rolling the dice on whose gonna get offended by it. Its kinda funny that MK gets brought up because I’m pretty sure a lot of parents wouldn’t be happy with their kids sitting through that level of violence. So the titty stuff is on the same level with adults.
Fun Fact: My nieces love SF5. All the female characters are pretty to them. They specially like Laura. Weird conundrum were in where kids won’t necessarily register the fanservice stuff too much (although Laura’s is kind of light) but would make adults wig out.
Yeah, I wanted to play the new mlp game…it’s not a bad fighter actually, but after about an hour or so of playing it and loving the mechanics, I had to come to grips with man… I’m playing with fucking my little ponies. Fuck that. I can only go so far.
Right now I’m looking at UNIST. This game looks pretty amazing. GODLIKE tutorial and training mode and even has an ingame frame counter like vf5. The characters are all interesting and unique and the game has actual cheap shit that isn’t locked behind a once a round cancel.
Everyome can make Chipp bleed, much like everyone can make Akum bleed, and they both have every possible tool. I’d say it’s a good comparison. The difference is that the GG cast in general has better ways to deal with it.
