Hmmmm… well I’ve always hated makotos playstyle the most out of all 3s characters ( followed by oro) so maybe that’s why I hate sf5… too much makotoism going on in here.

That’s possible. Makoto is just worse than all the other blender characters in the game now, people need to be grateful not having Dudley and Yun also joining this mess. Anyway nothing is set in stone, we can move on now.
If I had to pick a female character with my dick, it would be Elena.
Makoto is awesome.
She does not look like a prostitute and a lot of her SF4 stuff was hidden behind execution barrier.
I had the pleasure of watching v-ryu sensei destroy the whole Europe scene in person. Never watched anything like that.

Find someone with a laptop and install Fightcade/Mame on it(or put that stuff on a flash drive pre-emptively). It’s not ideal but it’s definitely the cheapest way.
I played a bunch of ST at Cannes Winter Clash a few years back this way. The screen was slightly laggy, but it was better than no ST at all.
(I assume this is offline play with other people)
Outside of Rose, Makoto, and Viper, I don’t really have any other character preferences. I mostly want to see what season 4 will bring in terms of balancing.

I honestly don’t see Dudely having anything crazy that Rog doesn’t do at the moment, Makoto is like many characters in this game. Yun could be an issue but his DK will certainly get neutered.
Like i would have thought that people weren’t be ready for Cody and he got changed so a lot of these guys WILL change.
People complaints about Cammy stems from far deeper issues imo. Being very easy to play, having an excellent get in moves, and most of all, being boring and having the stigma of always not getting nerfed.
Yun,Duds and Makoto would be fine imo

I would love Dudley and Elena. Imagine Dudley 4f HK turned into a crush counter… also the 13-14f overhead which can be comboed into super it’s missing.
The V-Trigger healing would be great to give Guile a bad matchup. St. Lp can go away but new stuff to do is mandatory.
I find the concept of side switching VR in general within a game like V where corner is a situation most characters can’t survive to be dumb. Hate the design impact it has, anybody with a side switch VR it’s actually a worse idea to send them into the corner because you’re risking putting yourself in there if you commit to anything with a long framecount. Especially given the power of Cammy’s corner game.
To be able to just outright nullify characters corner games directly into your own is retarded, and promotes not using corner carry enders to avoid the potential corner switch from their VR.
How about fuckers with side switch combos ?
I am certain Akuma and Mika totally need to have that side switch combo nonsense.

“Lose health to recover health” was an incredibly shitty idea in SFIV and will certainly be terrible here. If Elena is to have healing, give it to her as her CA.

Rose and Oro for me. However, I do have a preference for characters that we did not see in a while get a second chance at getting gameplay and new fans. There are some great SF1 concepts that can easily be resuscitated for the 21st century. Capcom have proven themselves with SF5 to be really capable of reimagining their characters in interesting ways, so sign me up for that.
I would like Elena to have a hurtbox.

If I had to go for a SF1 rep, I’d like to see Lee. Capcom is great when it comes to making characters unique, so I’d be interested in seeing a Drunken Fist styled fighter’s depiction into the game.
Sodom would be cool, too.
