True. The only reason Daigo loses nowadays is because he doesn’t want to disappoint his competition too much and to leave some variety to the stream monsters. If only he used 100% of his true power it would become immediately obvious that the game has been completely solved.

Tokido really on shows up on stream when he’s playing on the Topanga account. He had his own PS4 account called Zet-Famillie or something like that but he doesn’t use it anymore.
Not just you, the Juri match up was always a pain in the ass for me with Laura. Its a lot of chasing her and navigating her buttons which can be rough because she outranges you pretty easily. And she has an EX DP so even when you get in sometimes shit doesn’t work out.
Eventually I started doing better but I think that was more getting better at playing the players than the actual character.

I’m slowly getting out of some bad habits against her.
I don’t think it matters. For them it’d be like arguing which civil rights activist was the first one to fight against segregation in the 50s and 60s.
Yeah part of it is just getting used to the fact that most people in these ranks at least play her like a low-rent Infiltration, so if you press too hard you end up eating a lot of damage you don’t need to.
Two tips I remember that helped:

Juris in the Gold ranks rarely space her st.HK well. Always challenge after and you can pretty often punish with cr.LP xx LP Bolt into pressure.

They will try to cross up jump you a lot. I think its because the strings most of them use naturally leave them at that distance and they have learned that their opponents often fuck up the block or let them get back in for free.
If you can challenge or avoid those cross ups it can to a surprising amount to relieve the pressure that level of player can put on you. When I watched some of your replays you were doing this in some of the matches anyway so just be a little extra mindful of it in this specific match up and it will probably pay off.

unless she’s hitting cr.lp, cr.lk and st.lp at point blank range she can’t throw you without having to walk forward and cr.lk is 0 on block so you can just press st.lp after it.
All her light buttons with the exception of cr.lk are + on block, st.mp is +2 ob, everything else is - but can be spaced to be made safe (unless you have 3 bars since Laura’s CA has a 4 frames startup and can punish even her spaced st.mk).
All her non ex special moves with the exception of LK Fuhajin and her stores are punishable, she can cancel HK fuhajin into the LK one but if she tries the same with the MK you can jab her out of it.
Practice punishing her LK DP on block, it’s -3 if you block it standing and -8 if you’re crouching, it can be very hard to punish since if it hits you while you’re crouching the last hit will whiff so you’re going to exit blockstun before its animation’s end

I like MK games. A lot. I really hope they aren’t changing the combos. They are their own thing. No need to try and be like other shit.
That’s why i don’t like injustice.
I used to have allot of problems facing Juri on the ground till I started running sets with a guy who used to post on old SRK that was like Super Diamond with her. He would body my shit free till I started catching on. The biggest hurdle with dealing with Juri outside of the grounded fireball were the jump ins. So much of Juri’s neutral made me fear the ground and before I knew it I was getting crossed up. Had to tighten my spacing and keep myself within jump in distance once I had them cornered. Kolins cr.HP has angle that misses if you aren’t paying attention. I’ve gotten better at keeping my cool in the MU. I’ve taken quite a few ranked matches of 2DMagee who’s a GM Juri. Still gotta learn more though.

What even is the purpose of the side switch button outside of the animators being lazy half way through so they dont make moves make the characters go back to their neutral pose?
KSK is a japanese 3S player and owner of GodsGarden while it was around. He plays Alex. Pretty solid, not tops.

The whole I’m gay thing with sonic fox is whack and immature. But he’s getting cheered on by adults teens and immature people alike.
The thing about doing that is sexual orientation is something that’s naked to the human eye. So yelling out “I’m gay!” radomly just reminds me what a child or some one with autism might do because they have no clue how to properly express themselves. Sadly he gets egged on for it.
To go along with that he’s black, which isn’t naked to the human eye and gets you judged or perceived in a certain way instantly. I have older fighter friends that had heard of him and you know what they knew of him? He’s gay and a furry. Had no clue he was black… although he does mention it from time to time. But I won’t make this into an who is oppressed more post… But it would appear to me sexuality is more important than his identity…or one gets he cheers and smiles and likes and the other would get him “so what’s, who cares, what does that have to do with anything”
He should switch it up and start championing being black and see if he gets new headlines, articles and the same love.
He’ll quickly realized how championing being gay is much more advantagous than championing being black… And how silly it to just say it to say it.

I don’t think it’s any worse than even v gief. Juri still has amazing buttons for keeping gief in check.
