Hoping for SFV news at SDCC was a waste of time, as expected. A new Darkstalkers? People still hoping to see that? Never cared about that game, but if people want to fill Capcom pocket even more, go ahead.
They improved their communication skills only for selling costumes, everything else it’s like side dish to them. Smh
If it is a new Darkstalkers, I’m gonna be hella worried about it. With how mishandled MvCi was and the precedent that was set by SFV, Capcom doesn’t need to make any more fighting games.
Ono is a nice guy and he seems to have his heart in the right place but I would be lying if I said he wasn’t too optimistic.
Exactly. Capcom main Fighting Game still need some help and the crossover title is dead. Sure another Darkstalkers will sell (even a new RS), but then people better not complain if the quality isn’t there.
They’re more interested in quick money than good games from the FGs department, that’s their policy now.
New generations don’t even know what Darkstalkers is and probably they’re even less interested than people thinks, so I don’t put my money on that. MvCI pretty shows how Capcom can’t handle supporting more than one FG nowadays
While MVCI ultimately ended up crumbling, I don’t believe that necessarily points to Capcom’s inability to support more than one fighting game. MarkMan said Capcom was down to support the game for the long-haul, but the “other” company didn’t share the same outlook. Capcom can want to update and fix as many MVCI issues as they want, but if Marvel doesn’t, then it’s pretty much a done deal.
The lack of a budget, Marvel’s ridiculous mandates (wanting an artstyle akin to their mobile games, removal of the classic Marvel OST’s, not including the most iconic group that started the Vs series, etc), and their refusal to continue supporting the game pretty much doomed it.
Also why is Falke dressed like a old lady?
Why is Menat underage with all her goodies out?
But Falke is under UNDER age but a grown women with her clothes on?
Japan confused me again
