Why is Gief still broken
Broken? You mean broken in half, right?
I will not be forced to play SFV. I will play Street Fighter no matter what. Therefore, I will not jump when fighting Gief. Which makes Gief broken. Therefore I lose 5 games in row.

Gief is all about guessing games;. You think you should play safe and not get near him and he gets to roll the dice and do dumb shit.
Sometimes you have to fight dumb with dumb.
You aren’t supposed to jump at Gief anyway

5 games in a row I maybe jumped 3-4 times. I used Kage, Ryu, Birdie, and R. Mika. Funnything is I went 2-3 when using a no jumping Ryu. Just one of those days where I make random restrictions to spice up the game.
(I don’t have a problem fighting Gief, just a troll post btw)

I’m playing online not Evo. I’m going to jump when I get that feeling. I will hold up and allow them to air grab me three times if need be. Karin and Juri are allowed to jump in on Gief but I rather only neutral jump certain strings and charged heavy fuck you punch.
Another thing, I don’t agree with the “not allowed to do X” in SFV. It’s all about the individual you’re fighting then everything else after that. The 4th set when I used Ryu, he was eating my jump ins lol
Air grab ain’t what ur scared of its Lariat deep hit into oki, Giefs entire gameplan revolves around enabling his ground and his AA game has always been S tier. Jumping vs. him is asking to get put in a blender.

Reading the clusterfuck from the last couple of days, I could care less about whatever beef @Frosty and @Pertho have with each other, other than I’d rather both keep it from boiling over on the forums.
That said, certain lines shouldn’t be crossed.
