And this version of 5 is pretty balanced over all, not perfect or great but very serviceable. Plus alot of top players seem pretty happy with it, I almost wonder if they are going to drop a balance patch for it after Evo.
With 4 months left in the CC tour, seems crazy to complete change up the meta with not only new characters but a balance patch…
Not to mention if they to a mechanic change like another trigger.
Frost ain’t trying to defeat people who care about this game or SF in general. There’s a big difference. Cipher is on some toxic “You play SF you suck” kinda mentality. I’ve watched Frost’s streams before and he’s a really chill dude, willing to help people who are seriously trying to level up in V. Plus, his knowledge of the game and how to get better at certain situations is stellar.
Cipher has YET to contribute anything meaningful. He just takes pride in thinking he got rid of Highland and Daemos. Two posters who were significant in this community. Daemos especially in the SF story thread is a joy to behold. Watching Highland banter between DJ, Frost and Twin is also irl laughter.
Overall, I don’t believe they’re in the same boat. As Frost encourages others to evolve, while Cipher just mocks whoever enjoys SFV.
Also, just went back to the other thread. Only A10 sided with Frost. There were more people siding with you because school shooting jokes are a wack meme.
Also, he did react like an asshole to that, but it’s not like anyone here actively wishes harm to one another.
