@FlyingVe @Hecatom Cool, I have shiny new copy of Zodiac Age I’ve been looking forward to cracking into when I get the time (so probably never but the ambition is there). I forgot they added fast forward; that will probably help. I made it to the middle of the game back in the PS2 days but stalled out and never got back to it.
@Akhos I never thought a game would come up with better food porn than Dragon’s Crown but FFXV takes it by a mile. The behemoth meat cup noodle is seared into my mind as looking absolutely delicious (also the goofy product placement part of it also helped me remember it).

I played the shit out of Ninja Warriors on SNES. Definitely looking forward to this version especially with the nutty characters they are adding.

Saw Midsommar on Tuesday and loved it. No spoilers but blocking it off for anyone that wants to avoid any impressions:
Summary
The more time passes, the more I think I like it more than Hereditary, and I love the hell out of Hereditary. Where Hereditary is in plenty of ways still a horror movie, Midsommar is much more of a dramatic thriller with some horrific elements.
For me it had fewer “holy shit” moments (the last 15 minutes of Hereditary knocked me for a loop) but the overall presentation of tension, mood, and its themes gave it a lot of resonance.
I would also say that because of that it is going to be a lot more polarizing than Hereditary. If the presentation, atmosphere, and themes jive with you, you’ll probably love it. If not, I can see finding it boring as hell.
