SFV Lounge: I'm still alive. Sakura's alt is kinda cute

it played fine, but if Granblue came out with GGPO?

that game would be SUPAH hot fire.

its already arcsys best netcode to date. Never had a game go below 3f delay.

That said though fuck delay forever and fuck you arcsys for still using it.

The only reason I could ever possibly even entertain having Psycho Gorilla in is to make @Evil_Canadian hopefully happy with SF5.

I thought SamSho was supposed to do that.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. All it does is improve things for all connections. If Xrd2 and other games had GGPO netcodes, those games would be extra popping. But somebody just needs to go to Japan and explain to them that people all over the planet love their games and want ot play them online.

Don’t think they really understand at this point, their fanbases are global.

they understand this

Nippon, ichiban!

Good enough for japan = good enough as far as most japan devs are concerned. Its a miracle Capcom even used rollback for sfv/mvci to begin with.

You guys, if MVCI would be rebranded but mostly with the same engine and mechanics, What aspect do you want to change in gameplay mechanics?

Psycho Gorilla would be awesome in general tho! :gorilla:

BBTag was very similar in the loosey goosey tag mechanics, but I like how it handled it better. I was super hype for how crazy the free tag system was going to be, but it sort of ended up being kind of shitty in practice. There’s a million awesome cool things to do with it though. But do super, tag person in for a million free mix up is just not the type of thing I enjoy playing against.

In general though, I’m very much against changing games to suit me for the hell of it. There are a lot of people who love the system for what it is and lets you do. Don’t wanna see the things people loved ripped from them. Do want a brand new MvC2 port with GGPO.

Worked for me when I used to play music.

I just need to increase my workload to account for increasing said pressure

You were doing it wrong. Want me to quote a private instructor, who wrote a book entirely on practicing, about why you’re wrong?

Musicians have been doing a lot of things backwards for a long time. That being one of them.

So I’ve been shit all my life then, good to know

Doesn’t mean you’re shit. But it does mean you should look at how you’re going about things.

Let’s start off with the basics: Do you want to get better at this hobby, yes or no?

I’m obviously indiffirent about improving at this point. Think I’m happy being on the level of FlyingVe where I’m good enough to enjoy playing it casually (which is still multiple levels higher than the vast majority of the planet), but I don’t want to compete (where in my case I don’t have anywhere to compete).

So lets be done with all the self hating nonsense and establish that you do want to improve or your don’t. Easy peasy, which is it?

Calling me out for being a casual…

Not wrong though.

I liked the gameplay mechanics. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Just do a overhaul on every single character model and expand the roster (ie, give me X-Men and more than 50 characters).

In all honesty, I’d be perfectly fine with Capcom characters getting cut completely. I’d only miss X and Zero. There’s a lot more Marvel characters I want to play as.

They even got Jet Set Radio guy, Hideki Naganuma?

This game, or at least it’s music, is going to be awesome.

Beam lockdown did get pretty dull after awhile, but I still liked the system overall.

My experience with MVCI was a blur, which is weird since I’ve enjoyed the entire Vs series for countless hrs. I played it a lot early on and then I stopped. I hate how much of an opportunity was missed with the bad choices revolving around the game.

Yeah, I’ve said it a million times, but most of the FGC media and outsiders loooove downplaying just how much of FGC gameplay is casual.

The difference is that FGC “casual” means I’m gonna hit you with some bullshit set up…for fun.
