Creativity and unpredictability
That’s the nice way of saying yoshi players are gosh damn nut cases.
If you want to get your hands dirty, you might have better luck with one of the full Android phone emulators out there.
I haven’t tried one, or installing any games on one in forever, but the ones that Visual Studio provides seem to run really well. You’ll have to dick about installing optional extras and stuff to get the store available, which might well be more of a pain than just waiting to see what Bluestacks comes up with.
(And, like I said, I can’t say how well - or even if - a more modern game will run, so… aye.)
They kinda have to be, Yoshi’s not that hard to defend against if you know the basics of the MU. He has a few big can openers (fullcrouch sword sweep etc) and fucks up impatience, but since his tools are so situational and don’t really do much damage, you have to hit that very specific option out of 6 other situational tools. If they hit that and get into your head, they’ll fuck you up. But they HAVE to do that to win. It’s why I really respect good Yoshi players.
Apparently, Monster Hunter: World is Capcom’s best selling game in history, with over 12.5 million copies sold on three platforms. Can somebody tell me what the appeal of this game is? Seems like a pretty pointless grindfest, but there must be more to it if it’s that popular.
