Ryu’s forward jump is also 45 frames. So, yeah, he’s not reacting to jumps with a flash kick. He definitely shaved a frame or two off the execution but he still has to have it charging before the jump.

I’ve been thinking about HB but that was waaaay before the memes. I’m an analog player and I refuse to use pads but analog is not good enough for most fighters on a consistent level especially for dashes and jump cancels in anime.

I just picked up 5 Special in a sale as i heard the netcode was good. I wanted to see if i liked the gameplay enough to grab the new one.

I picked up Genjiro and after 2mins in the lab learned his charged card unblockable. Gotta love a game that respects your time like that.
