Did Capcom even tease any announcements for today? I don’t remember seeing anything.

I still think we’ll get absolutely nothing until EVO where they might reveal/release the entire roster so that there’s at least technically enough time for people to prepare a character for Capcom Cup.

Jeah I feel if they were gonna show something after so long Capcom woulda hyped it up a lot more. Twitter teasers, profile background changes, anything. I’d be really surprised if we got anything at all honesty

There is something but it’s not what people expected.

So manage I would expect something realistic, since we are already in 2019.

As of now adding characters, costumes and stages was the problem of SFV vanila and not SFV AE. IMHO

FM, net codes and additional options to improve the available character tool set is what the current issue is.

My official prediction as to what we get in terms of reveals:

Summary

For the tournament I think GF will be Momochi v OilKing (kinda picked the 2nd out of a hat, I can see most people in the top 8 making it to GF), with Momochi taking it.

I am enjoying the action. Reveals are nice but the competition is what keeps people coming back. At least here on SRK.
Reddit tho, i’m expecting the frontpage will have a shit ton of threads about the end of SFV by tomorrow

I wanna say we get a character but deep down it ain’t looking like we’re getting shit outside of stages. Nah I’m doubling down we’re getting something either a character or those second v skills. Why would they put those unused text files in this early? If they don’t give anything I’ll stfu and never mention this type of shit again.

Zero hints/indications from Capcom social media atm, I have bad feelings. The chance of the 1st CPT event is too big, they ain’t gonna miss this opportunity even because the backlash would be fuckin high.

Then I think about SFV and MvCI and think “well maybe not”

Then I think about RE2R and DMC5 and think “damn yeah maybe”

I’m still not sure how much the FG division of Capcom has their heads screwed on right (at least at the management level) but hopefully seeing the success they’ve had recently with going back to their recent roots would bode well for something like a DS revival.

Of course it’s all moot because that series is probably deader than Lord Raptor for the foreseeable future.
