SFV Lounge: Cammy at the Falken bottom, Makoto is in final phases, Leo Alex is broken

I can try

The pain will help you land your medium to medium confirms I’m sure :stuck_out_tongue:

same goes for mkx :coffee:

I won’t be free for about 2 hours. If you can hold it in until then.

Kage stuff

So here’s a comparison of Regular shoto AA vs Kage AA.

Testing far medium and heavy shoryus vs jump in

Testing far medium and heavy shoryus vs jump in

Basically shows Kage can still clip stuff out of the air for smaller damage from places that other shotos can’t. Of course taking more damage if you catch jumps deeper in.

Examples of hit box difference between shoryus.

Kage MP and EX Shoryus (around 8th frame)

Medium Punch

EX

Akuma MP and EX Shoryus (around 8th frame)

MP

EX

The HP Shoryus have similar hit boxes, but Kage’s travels much further allowing him to clip really far jumps out of the air that other shotos can’t.

I changed my stick grip today, I’ve been holding my stick kinda weird. Now I do 3 fingers top of the bar and little finger underneath. I used to have my ring finger under the bar, it left my wrist at a weird angle.

I can already feel the difference in how my hand can manoeuvre in response to the opponents actions.

How does everyone else grip their stick? If you play on pad, don’t talk to me amigo.

Fine, I won’t buy you that EVO ticket then >:c

Like it was a korean battop and handle it like a troglodyte with my arm.

Makotoooooooo best Makoto, best punch girl, best squirrel girl. 10/10 want her in the next BB

Wineglass style, between middle and ring finger. I have a typical Japanese ball top.

Also, I’ve been thinking about getting a hitbox. Not out of a delusion that it will make me better, but more just for fun.

Hitbox is love, hitbox is life. Get hitbox.

I think watching you play would be entertaining as fuck, you’d beat the stick harder than the other guy on screen

How did I guess you would have a bat top…

I picked one up myself at Evo last year, and I’ve actually enjoyed the thing. Like you, I never really had execution issues, but it cleaned up a lot of slop that I had, especially with charge inputs. Being able to just tap up and a button without letting go of the opposite direction is pretty neat, as is not having to worry about going straight across

Is there anything I should know about getting one? I would like it to have my preferred Sanwa buttons.

I thought I played stick like most people do.

Index and thumb opposed on either side top of the ball.
Middle-finger curved around the bottom edge on the upper side.
Ring finger near the stick-part to adjust when necessary.

But then this one time I got done fighting the worst connection ever and I was just full-on fisting it.
Who knows really?

That’s how I held it, but my wrist was lying weirdly and making certain motions sloppy. Also made playing Tekken and doing KBD very painful on my wrist, idk what I was doing to lay it out so strangely.

My muscle memory adapted quickly, new grip already fits like a glove.

Can’t make it any worse.

Figured out the initial problem. I was doing Kolin timing with G (even though the buttons aren’t the same). And of course when I went back to Kolin I started doing G’s timing.

I should be around so long as my head doesn’t snap off at the neck. Gonna skip class tonight so I don’t make it any worse.

I don’t. I use a balltop. More comfortable and easier to swing around like a club.

You must have some Amazonian level of mittens to be carrying around that nonsense.

Talking about you a dainty woman and all that. How tall are you, Bea?

I bet at least 6’ 2" volleyball playing ass height.
