@d3v my predictions are starting to look right. I’m sure Vega just filled another one of those 8 spots in the green. They making sure 8 characters that were in SF2 are ready for launch I think. That means the those early lists were just attention grabbers.
It’s not about what I wanna (take a look at my profile picture and ----suddenly— you’ll be able to see R. Mika, who I wish got revealed as soon as possible). We know how Capcom works, and I bet seeing in the core roster a fucking great/hyped char such as Mika, Karin, Alex and Urien together. Remaining only 4 slots (other 3 are new warriors) do you really think Urien, Mika, Karin and Alex are going to take them? We aren’t talking about wishes at all, only probable facts. Those 4 veterans would make more money than Akuma, Guile, Blanka or whoever. One of them, maybe two of them I think can happen at the launch. But all of them? No way!
i’m happy about them. i still think brazil stage is a new character. if not, i’m actually pretty confident blanka wouldn’t be the same annoying character we got in sf4 so i don’t really mind if they put him in.
Not necessarily. The blue could still be “everyone else”, which means SF3 characters are eligible for the blue zone.
My gut tells me that Urien is the unlockable final boss and that this game sadly takes place immediately before SF3. Which will help explain away SF3 characters as DLC only.
Gief and Sim for the SF2 slots. Rose, Mika, Juri, Abel, Oro, and maybe Alex as possible candidates for the returning blue characters.
Possible, but highly doubting it at this point. Don’t see why they would stick two SF3 characters next to Birdie and Nash when it’s all but obvious that everyone in the green zone is going to be SF2 characters now. Think they’re sticking to same series in the green and blue and then the 4 new ones fit in the purple for a done deal.
@d3v Yeah I’m bummed at 7 Eleven characters taking over a SF launch again, but whatever.
I hope there’s a couple 3S characters that fit in that slot, but I’m pretty sure you’re going to be seeing 2 more Alpha characters next to Nash and Birdie.
Alex and Urien are two big requested 3S characters and I highly doubt they would throw both of them in at launch.
Well the next blue or green character will confirm totally what those boxes mean. Is green SF2 or SF4, is Blue Alpha or Everyone Else?
If SF3 characters do not make it at launch, then we will see a ‘yellow box’ advertised before the game is released, revealing the first generation of DLC characters which will probably be comprised of all SF3 characters to make up for their absence.
Doubt we still have 8-9 months until release and only 7 characters left. We have got necalli 2 weeks ago so think Vega was kinda our second one. Probably another month or so until we get another.
