At this point, we need to wait a month or so for Capcom Cup to get some more info.
Not getting my hopes up in the least, but at the same time, if Capcom really wants to win some fans back and get a big bang for their buck with AE, it makes sense to release additional characters outside of the season pass. That doesn’t mean they’re free in my mind, just not included in the season pass, as in you have to pay for them separately. Would be awesome though to get about one character a month. Definitely feels like wishful thinking right now though. The six in the season pass wouldn’t surprise though, and that would make me happy as hell.

The only logical reason for Capcom to give away such cash-in characters with AE is if they have no intention of making an S4. They would be going all in with this revision which does not make any sense.
