I don’t know man, all my favorite characters and mains, sans necro are in the game and the trash netcode is the biggest wall for me to get past right now to be able to really enjoy the game. I find myself rather playing GG, smash 3S with my friends. The sole fact that I don’t have to wait in between 2 billion screens and load times with those games makes them more attractive.

I’ll jump into sfv as soon as the netcode is stabilized. Till that point, I have little incentive to play if it ain’t local…

Problem is’nt who is working on MvC and who’s not, if Capcom chose to put SFV new stuff on pause (even more lol) to let MvC have 100% spotlight, they will do it regardless of who’s doing it

I think it might be the opposite. When they wrap up development of MvC: Infinite, their internal teams could focus on both MvC:I and SFV updates and DLC. At least that’s what I hope.

Yeah, like Eagle’s going to be in SFV anytime soon… We’re more likely to get a pack of alts that doesn’t include Chun.

If MvCI launches as a complete game, it will already be farther along than SFV is a year after release.

I don’t think it matters how good it is. Marvel Vs. games are fundamentally a different kind of fighting game from SF. One is not going to replace the other. That’s like saying Smash Bros. would replace Tekken. They have two different player bases.

The Marvel games are trash to me. SFV isn’t interchangeable with Marvel. I want SF gameplay, not Marvel gameplay. I won’t bother with Infinite either. SFV and Tekken 7 are the only fighting games I’ll need for the next couple years unless a new Soulcalibur comes. Marvel is sooooo fucking boring to me weirdly enough. I can’t even spectate it without getting bored. But I know there are 1 or 2 Marvel fans here, no point in derailing this thread with inferior games.
