I get disconnected from my battle lounge after a min of trying to host one.
I have the same problem, but my CFN ID is 8 characters. If I switch to a secondary Steam account (which is linked to a different CFN ID) i can create and invite people to lobbies. That’s weird…
I’m not sure about how it works with random people since I haven’t tried since the release but with 4 of my friends, it’s been great, with only disconnect from lounge.
sometimes it does work, but usually don’t. For example I was watching dalydot last night…and Snake wanted to play vs Mike Schiller Danke, and they couldn’t connect to same lobby…
If I try to connect to random lobbies, I can connect maybe once out of 15 different tries…that sux
Tested BL with another person whose name has six characters and it was just a coincidence. Back to the drawing board on that one.
Did all of you participate in the beta and did you use the same name? Whats your CFN IDs?
If I invite anyone my lobby crashes as they try to join…
I get no info on connection on lobbies I search for.

Stuck here playing casual’s. Only way battle lounge work for me is if someone invite me. I try to join a lobby I get disconnected

It works.
It fails a lot too.
My issue, mainly, (Out of all the issues with it.) is that it has a lot of false rooms that are either already full or have long since been abandoned. Also, the fact that you have to go through the menu in the main menu to even join one is a chore. I get not being able to do it in a ranked or casual match, but like if you’re in training, story mode or survival i can’t just accept right then and there?
Also the delay it takes to see people’s pings (And while we’re at it, no ping numbers, but actually BARS instead.), you may as well just join and hope your chances that the person you connected with has 4 bars and up before someone else just hops in and joins.
Like we could go into all the other stuff, but these fundamental mechanics basically are the main foundation that needs to work before anything else.
Battle lounge is fucked. It works but u cant specify ur search like to say only 4-5 bars so gd luck joining a lobby with a decent connection. Others have already mentioned issues with false rooms and pings. Ur better off just playing casual match, problem with that tho is I wanna play sets not single matches. Playing against a friend is fine tho
If you see one of your favorite players in a lounge…is there any way to join? Or you gotta get an invitation?
Also I set my connection to 5 bars… get a player whos teleporting all over… its not accurate at all.
Starting to think that mostly indicates closeness than stability.
Has anyone been getting crashes from the game? Yesterday during a BL match I got randomly disconnected, and then when pressing Square to search, the game crashed completely and took me back to the PS4 dash 
The server maintenance fixed my battle lounge issues, thank god.
When did this server maintenance kick in?I have had the same list of battle lounge for like the last month or so. Is there any way to resolve this without making a new steam ID?
