Just got some lovely ragemail after my first win in G2. He quit before accepting the end of the match so I didn’t get credit for it then sent me these messages.
Some context: I was Honda, he was Gief. I was using straight jump HP as my to keep him away and seems he didn’t like that…
Here is the other hate mail I got from a couple of days ago.
He was turtling Guile against my Honda. I was very offensive in this one and kept mixing up the wakeup with grabs, oichos, stomps, stomps cancelled into oichos and splashes. He wasn’t pleased.
k; I might bve quoting this a little bit late. lol. But STFU dude, WTF u talking about? If my router happens to die it isnt cause I intentionally dc, which I never do, so FU… dick.
Oh god please don’t bring that here. I played DRO for a few months when it first dropped and people bitched like crazy about lows and throws on Zaibatsu. It was like a fucking GameFaqs message board. I’m like if the lag is that bad then dont fucking play me. The funny thing is that everybody was acting like they could break 100% of throws offline.
Uh people CAN break 100% of the time offline. Its not hard to see arms and react to it.
And if u don’t know that then u don’t know how to play tekken.
Point blank I give no props to people that throw online. The only exceptions are gief and abel. But even then I don’t respect the players because most of them are fucking trash lmao.
ROFLS@ This guy named Bluedemon28 or 88 or some stupid fucking number.
I was fucking about using CViper trying to get into a groove with her, and I lose to guy who clearly sucked ass, and had one of the worst stereotypical Ken’s I have EVER seen.
This douche bag must’ve been happy as hell, because he starts sending me messages trying to taunt me, first I warn him not to embarrass himself and then I make a player match and invite him to take his ass whipping.
We go back and forth, me trying t coax him into another fight and him being a chickenshit cause he knows he’ll lose.
All he does is talk shit and says some stupid shit like “LULZ FOR REELS DUDE IM SHOW MY HOMIES DIS CRYING BITCH LUL”
And my reply was:
“Yeah, show your homies, so they’ll know you’re just a bitch ass coward.”
Mad props to people who can react that fast because I sure as fuck cannot. I only ever score techs because I just had to train myself to go for a throw whenever I see the opportunity because if I can throw, the other guy can too and the only way I’m gonna tech that shit is by going for mine first.
Do you play on like 1 bar or something? Surely if you’re breaking throws on DR 100% of the time, then you can tech throws in SFIV on at least 3 bar. Even if you claim you can’t react to them in time enough(which is gonna happen offline too) you are still able to anticipate them.
I honestly never agreed with the cats whining about throws in DRO and this so called “etiquette” but whatever, cool. I can understand DRO. But SFIV is far from this. Unless you have a prior UNUSUAL understanding with your opponent that, hey we won’t throw unless it’s command grab( lol! sorry) then you shouldn’t get mad. Obviously others don’t find the throws as devastating as you or it’d be an nearly universal Etiquette Rule like in DRO.
If you still don’t agree then maybe you shouldn’t play online. Because you’re prone to messing up links, etc, other stuff besides throw techs. So if the experience becomes so displeasing that you have to water down the game, then why bother?
Or you can start a thread on GFaqs listing all the players who “don’t throw online” and you’re set.
Fought him about half a dozen times in G! and each time i beat him he calls me “lucky”. And sends some sort of random hatemail. the last time i fought him he used abel and i completely dominated him and he says “thats right faggot, hes my new main” …lol…schizo much?
LOL dude whatever. Nobody can break throws 100% of the time in Tekken. Seriously who are you kidding? Yes there are people that can see the arms, but they still get thrown. They don’t break that shit 100%.
You should stop playing SF4 online right now, or at least find friends that abide by your code of honor.
People who demand some sort of “code of honor” or “etiquette” for games are failures. If I may, I’d like to quote rule #75: No excuses, play like a champion.
Show the vids please. I’ve never seen anyone do so in a tourney or otherwise. They may have a few matches where they break the throws, but 100%? No. With that being said has something changed with T6? Cause I don’t follow the Tekken scene anymore at all. Did they enlarge the throw escape window? If you guys are talking about T5:DR and older I don’t believe it at all.
Not going to argue with you whatsoever since you admittely don’t even bother following the scene anymore… I dont’ see how you can make such a claim while NOT following the scene anymore, seems a bit ridiculous IMO.
We were talking about T5:DRO originally, which I did follow. That’s why I asked whether something specifically changed for T6.
So please name some T5:DR players or TTT era players who broke throws 100%. I’d genuinely like to know. If you’re done with this convo then Mario or someone else let me know.
