bad games to chicago_aztec521. He uses Ryu/Ken. Beats my Dictator one match, thats cool, he picks Ken next, beat him. Then he goes to Ryu, figured him out so after the match in the lobby he disconnects. Don’t give up, keep trying! Hey a lot of better players than me give me advice and I take it.

I dunno man, I just felt like the guy maybe thought after I beat him he had nothing left… Maybe he could have tried something with another character, my Bison is better than it was but still sucks. I just try to keep playing and learning if someone hands me my ass.
Don’t presume to know what a (former) opponent is thinking when he leaves a lobby.
Maybe he had been playing for hours and needed a break. Maybe he had to clean his room. Maybe he had been playing Dictators all day and wanted to play someone else. Maybe he was tired of getting his ass whupped.
This goes for being kicked as well. If someone from SRK wants to play, instead of creating a new lobby, I’ll just kick the guy I was playing and invite the SRK member.

also if someone drops after they lose the first match but before the second round starts, you shouldnt automatically call that a bad game…I get disconnected all the time in between rounds, so obviously if I got my ass kicked in the first round it tends to look like I rage quit.

I ran into him again today. I guess he was in a better mood, since he didn’t drop. He did send me the typical “go outside you play this too fucking much” message (I’d like to believe he was being sarcastic), but I think the requisite “lol u mad?” reply warmed his soul a little bit. I didn’t get to his rematch invitation in time though. :sad:
