This is why, if you can defeat an opponent without the use of an Ultra in the last round, you should try doing that instead of finishing them off in a flashy manner (even though they only have 2% health left :P). The Ultra gives them plenty of time to disconnect. Go for chip damage if you have to, lol.
Well, then again…I guess this really wouldn’t work for ALL instances though, since we can never really tell, before the fight, if the guy is going to drop out of the match or not. Either way, something to keep in mind regardless, I guess. I’m just glad I haven’t run into a dropper in a while.
I usually send DC’ers the “Go home and be a family man” picture attachment on PSN. The mic DC’ers get the whining pictures, as seen on the current lizardlick thread.
I was playing some guy last night and I guess he got tired of losing. Well, the last round he quit fighting and just kept walking forward letting me do damage so I just taunted and then finished him. I had this happen twice. Just pathetic when people give up. I would rather they rage quit.
now im getting a bit worried, cause i have gotten Disconnects at games, and i don’t want ppl to think im a quiter, so some of those peeps can actually just have gotten a DC…

had a game with a horrible ken player today with

I lost the first round but noticed his repetitive patterns (he throws shoryukens if a person gets too close and throws his ultra almost at the time he gets it). Noticing these patterns I completely destroyed him the next two rounds. On the last round he gets his ultra (at this point he has a slither of life) and completely wiffs it and disconnects on his way down from the ultra
I’m pretty passive but today too many people dropped like this so i decided to message him congratulate him on his drop
he responds with this:
“well i hate to break it for ya, but just dont wanna lose 2000bp which me along time”
That’s hilarious, since a few weeks back when I played him he accused me of raging. You know when you’re about to go round 2 and the game freezes before teh ‘FIGHT!!’ logo appears, he sent me a message saying ‘keep running’ :lol:
Nice idea, although it could use with each entry having the droppers names as tags, and a tag cloud on the side of the screen like the front page of SRK highlighting the most popular ones.
