hey…maybe we should postpone the tourney until the update comes out so we can have spectators so the beginners can watch higher level matches as they go along and we’ll be able to take advantage of the tournament mode the game will have.

move the tournament to 5pm Pacific!!! i work on saturdays from 8-430 and dont get gom until 530 but can probably make it by 5!!! If not than sign me up anyways and maybe i wil make it on time- gt marvaz009

There’s no guarantee the new update will have a spectator mode, plus who knows when it’s coming out. Best thing people can do is just record and put up their matches.

I know it said to message you about questions but I think these 2 questions would be something everyone would need to know.

  1. How are disconnects handled? My internet drops randomly so I would like to know.
  2. What would be the rules on character use. Basically can winner change characters for the second round?

I don’t want to speak for the creator of the thread, but I would hope people are honest about this. You can definately tell when a disco. is involuntary. (Just yesterday, a game drop; the guy was jumping in and I was in the middle of a FA) I really hope in those cases we get to do a rematch, unless it happens repeatedly, of course.

Winner usually stays with the character and loser has the option to change. Again, not trying to put words in the OP’s mouth, just talking from personal exp.

Also, I have a question regarding the actual matches. How will we know when it is our turn to fight x opponent? Will the brackets be updated in real time and posted in this thread?
