In case you didn’t know SA’s only absorb one hit. And all EX fireballs are 2 hits.
They only have that one video where the guy found out about it on accident. And what your pretty much seeing is someone doing what they would in the training room, except instead of going and trying to see how they incorperate that into their game play first they posted it up and gave it a name (NOW i’m positive they posted it up so that other players can try to find ways to make it effective)
But this is what it really boils down to. I know people are trying to get ready and prepare for this game when it hits 360, and people are scrambling to find who is top teir what’s cheap etc. etc. What people are failing to realize here is that in time (especially when it gets released on console) Those teirs will be further and further finalized. In the meantime for those that have the arcade machine (like us and cali and other places in the country) Ppl need to just pick up who they want to play and just run with it and learn the ins and outs of their character (match ups, combos, set ups, mix ups etc.) let me break it down like this, and we’ll use Ino’s teir list as an example:
Geif is S teir right? Bison is what B teir? So on paper Geif is better than bison right? WRONG. Let’s take this even further down the rabbit hole:
Who is more than likely going to win in this situation:
A person that has only played Bison since jump and knows his match up against Geif, or a person that saw Ino posting how Geif is S teir and has practiced doing SPDS and ultras one night on ST, doesn’t know the match up with Bison, doesn’t know when to punish, doesn’t know to do palm when they score a knockdown to set up more SPD’s, doesn’t know that he can grab bison during the start up of scissor kicks, doesn’t know that he pretty much can’t do shit about head stomp and devil’s reverse…The answer is pretty obvious here.

What’s the deal with the Cali arcade scene? Seems like they’e trying to create some kind of split between arcade and console players. That, or maybe it’s just UltraDavid/Reno/their yes-men.

in regards to this whole arcade/console thing I don’t know and really don’t care to be quite honest. The only community I am worried about is my community, I want to see all of us beast, and for those that are interested in playing SF4 even the slightest bit, there’s no excuse no to come out and play with GW’s having it too. Just remember that casual’s and tournament play are 2 different things, and the tournaments are in Tacoma…Better start trying to find some carpool buddies people.
