Can anyone that knows the owner of the sf4 cabinet try to start talkin to him about possible tourneys (we have a lot of support and can make him a lot of money) also, start tryin to sweet talk him into setting the Win limit to 30 or even turn it off. Its the most stupid thing ever and ill be glad to argue the point that it does NOT make them any more money. Its just lame. I know a few of u are on his good side…i have not had the chance to meet him yet but i plan too.
We gotta sweet talk this guy to get rid of win streak or at least double it up to 30. Its too depressing to be doing so well only to get knocked out at 15, hardly any time to build momentum or practice stuff

ps: Last night Frank and I confirmed FC Normals. It takes 2 bars to FC a normal attack.
example: you low rh happy Ryus…very unsafe move…well now u can throw it out, if they block then FC it and dash back or forward to keep offense. Takes a lot of meter, but i am SURE that there will be broken combos or set ups for it soon.
FC normals is pretty well known… especially by chun-li players as you can FC her kick chain at the launcher kick and do a stomp combo or whatever (probably ultra if you set it up right)
How unsafe is sweep really btw? do you know… Ive tried to punish it with a variety of ultras and not been able too… Im wondering what punishes blocked shoto sweep in this game I haven’t really tested alot of normals. Can a shoto, sweep a blocked sweep ala 3s?
First off, there’s no need to tell a person “hey, people already knew about this” when a person newly finds something out…it’s not needed because, it makes you look like you’re trying to pop off like a know it all. Secondarily, most people here in the NW forums don’t head over to SF4 boards…so they don’t realize that something like this can happen. It’s like…I see you post this, yet I don’t see you tell Mandel “yeah, we already knew this” when he posted tier lists, or how to punish Blanka ball.
To answer your question, shoto sweep is very unsafe when blocked and whiffed. And yes, a shoto can indeed punish a sweep with a sweep. Some ultra’s might not punish it because ultra’s in this game are incredibly slow. But that sweep is definitely unsafe when not distanced correctly.
this is what i got so far… i cant FC Normals if they whiff. only on hit and block. and with geif i cant fc his cr. RH, but i can fc almost all his other moves. lol maybe im too slow haha
and is this new? you can do spd with b,d/b,d,d/f,f,u/f+p (kind of like a half circle ahvb)

Sup Frank, I can chip in here real quick. I was finding that I could NOT FC cancel with my Ryu’s c.hk. I didn’t really play around with it TOO much, however I’m getting the impression that most characters won’t be able to SA out of a c.hk. I’ll do some heavy investigating next time.
About the 360’s…I always perform mine by doing hcb+up back punch. Not to sure bout that other stuff.

There’s a list of moves that can be focus cancelled for each character in the SFIV forums, I believe. Also, there is a bunch of PDFs that Nohoho and a few other knowledgeable guys in the SF community put together for a lot of simple, helpful things about characters’ moves and properties of the system. About last night, good games to Frankdadank and Korean Frank. Jumping rh, standing fierce, thunder knuckle cancel, low forward, strong thunder knuckle is like the sexiest combo in SFIV without supers I think.
