It says her rear spin kick (df. lk) got buffed. Startup decreased from 12 to 10 frames and hitbox buff. It this a reliable anti-air now? I know 10 frames is still a very slow startup for anti-air.

10 frames is really good because of the priority and how low she is to the ground. In super it was the same, except she had upper body invincibility… it really felt like the timing was the same as st. Mk.

Chun can confirm red focus from legs confirms. I already saw mago try it once. Any of the 4 hits of legs can be canceled into a crumple. Chun can do lk legs traps from blocked focus, which should be really scary. At +1 she cant be jabbed out of throw attempts and has a ton of high low pressure. She has punish options drom backdash… guesses very much in her favor with ultra damage tacked on to that now.

Cl. Hk xx lk legs for example works on akuma (akuma blocks all hits, even crouching which is different from ken/ryu. She will whiff on the last one and they can sweep punish). Safer than canceling to mk hsu for a counter hit and more damaging than cr. Hp if you are going for ultra, especially on counter hit where cl. Hk does 125 dmg. Cr.hp is still effective for looping or combo into sbk tho.

Hasanshu should also work to combo into rfa as well.

Rfa is gonna have to be taken to the lab for max damage situations, but looks promising.

I am really liking the sbk knockdown more and more as it is a lot of stun and damage and deemphasises the loop… i can get the first one but am no good at reps as plink really slows me down.

Practice your dash ultra, kids! I cant think of another overhead in the game that will combInto rfa, and if there is… this has to be the only one that will get you a 60% ultra.

Oh wow! I didn’t even think of doing this when Ultra came out. Crud. I’m not good at Dash Ultraing when I’m using Balrog.

So lk can knock down and be followed with ex stuff and mk doesn’t and can link a super? I’m cool with that.

  2. HK SBK doesn’t have enough frame advantage to link super in AE 2012 (and it still knocks down in the beta according to those notes btw).

Anyone figure out if you can bird kick into raw U1 in the corner? It would be a neat meterless option.

That makes more sense. lk/hk for the Ryu tatsu style knockdown combos, mk for the Super afterwards.

air has been derping tweets for a while now

Air’s Chun tweet was partly my fault. I was testing her out at NWM and randomly shouted out things to Air, but didn’t realize he didn’t stay in one place. So I had to go find him and tell him to edit that LK and HK bird knock down, but not MK after he made that update.

But the Vega j.LK being the actual cross up and not j.MK was his fault lol.
