SFIV Chun Li General - Fellowship of the Thigh v.2

If your opponent is using two bars as a yolo random anti-poke attempt then you should be winning for free anyway.

I’m not so sure and will have to play it at a loc test if there’s one in SoCal. I just get this bad feeling about red focus. I agree it will certainly help her in many situations because her focus attack is good, but I’m still kind of worried about it.

I think you’re going to have to out-think it to beat it regardless and its use and counters at high level will be strongly reliant on player tendencies. The meter cost is to put the weight on that decision. It isn’t just “absorb multiple hits of anything that isn’t a hard armor breaker” for 2 bars, it’s also rumored to be unblockable at lvl 2 (which I assume means it’ll reach the unblockable state quicker than a lvl 3 regular focus) and no one has mentioned if it carries over any armor properties if you do something like say… FADC from a blocked DP and start charging red focus. Regular focus does not keep its armor in that situation, but who’s to say that is the same case for Red Focus? If the unblockable thing is true, then it’s just as much a change for opening people up as it is for defending yourself.

Hey guys, in case you missed it, SRK user Shabrout created an Oki trainer for PC SF4:

Basically, it can listen to your stick inputs and perform moves on wakeup, or on X number of frames after they wakeup.

I haven’t tried it just yet, but it seems like a fantastic tool to test and practice option selects and/or safe jumps.

too bad pc version is ass

??? PC version has the most reliable netcode I’ve experienced across any version of SF4 so far.

Not to mention most sticks are compatible with PCs regardless whether they’re PS3 or XBox which makes compatibility a non-issue.

PC version is the best version, no contest

gtfo that version is so fugly

there are tons of vids showcasing weird bs even with the proper settings in the video options

it depends a lot of hardware config an all that nonsense, and even with “optimal” hardware. If you dont experience weird bs is one of two things:

1.- you are really lucky

2.- you dont play the other versions that much

??? I have played the PC version on several different computers, including even my laptop which runs it just fine (although at lower graphics quality).

When vanilla SF4 was on PC, it had a lot of problems. For AE I almost never experience issues now, and when I do it’s because my opponent’s computer can’t run the game so it slows down.

I think all that picture is missing is Lei-Fang and it would be amazing.

Lei Fang AND Li Xiangfei…

Edit: AND Xianghua

… Jeez I play so many Chinese girls. My friends were right lol.

Also Lei Lei, Jam, Litchi, Lei Xia, etc.

I played a little Xiaoyu in Tekken, before I realized I hated her. I don’t play Tekken anymore, but when I do…Bryan.

And Leixia can go die in a fire.

Oh yeah I forgot about all of them. Someone should make a drawing regardless xD

Okay, so if myself or any other Chun Li players will be going to one of the location tests (I most likely will make it to NEC and there will be testing there), what should be tested so we don’t miss anything?

-EX bird
-effectiveness of delayed wakeup/tactical recovery vs post-knockdown mixups
-U1 juggling in the corner
-damage of solo and junctioned/W Ultras
-if Red FA is going to hurt her or help her
-If EX kiko and EX HSU have any other use at all other than what was shown in the demos
