I saw that the anniversary edition was reverse compatible with the xbox 360. If you have xbox live can you play online? Cause’ I heard you can’t play halo 2 online anymore. And does anyone know where to get a copy within California or do I have to get it online I never played it but it looks really fun (especially that Justin vs Daigo match everyone knows about haha)
I thought XBOX Live was dropped in the old XBOX.
You can play 3S and many other fighting games with GGPO.
Xbox live on all original xbox games are discontinued so you either use GGPO or Supercade to play it
Is it an arcade perfect port? I really want to learn how to play the game and with practice mode i’m sure it’ll be loads easier. Is there any difference between the dreamcast/ps2/xbox versions?
GGPO and Supercade uses mame roms dude.
Don’t get it twisted though, the game still works on the 360, you just can’t play online anymore.
ahahah nice gametag ashley leggat is real hot
On the original xbox it seemed to me that it was the same as the PS2 version. When you play on the 360 there are some slow down issues in some of the stages that could affect your timing. For example when you make the stage scroll up in Yun/Yang’s, Akuma’s and I think Dudley’s stage. Any kind of flickering effects to the backgrounds seem to be more apparent when playing on the 360 version too.
I think there are some differences in the dreamcast version that they tried to do for balance. I think some of Urien’s unblockable setups don’t work, Chun’s c.mk ultra was changed to be more of a link to make it harder to just whip out. Not sure what other differences there are, I didn’t spend too much time on that version. I would recommend finding it on PS2 to practice on since that is the tournament standard. That or find the rom.
